Production runs for T2 invention

So I did my first bit of invention (after about 5 attempts with a 1.2 chance decryptor, and created a crow blueprint copy and was a little underwhelmed.

I know that the # of blueprint production runs is something that can be affected by decrypters and whatnot but I was alarmed to see this:

Licensed Production Runs Remaining: 2
Max Runs per Blueprint Copy: 10

Which to me looks like as if the blue print had already been used for 8. I assume this is normal but I'm a little disappointed, as the time sink and money involved in copies and then invention I was kind of expecting the 30 from the original condor's blue print copy when I started. 10 I could live with and understand as per this blueprint's info, but 2 was remarkably low, unless I obtained like 40 BPOs for the same thing and trained up about 8 science/mani alts, I can't really imagine how I would make it a profitable use of my time.

This is made more disppointing as I was using the Prototype Diagram decryptor which gives me +1 and leads me to believe without it I'd have had a BPC for a single production run. And this was with about 5 invention jobs with 1.2 chance for invention.

I guess it's time to obtain me some Interface Alignment Chart decryptors for the +9 runs (tho I seem to recall these being extremely rare), but I fear with 0.6 chance of invention (down from 1.2) this will only be more of a time sink as with an online calculator I found even leveling 5 any skills I do not have at level 5 only raises the chance of invention nominally a few % and with 0.6 it's still dangerously low, and I could be looking at weeks of research to get a single 10 run blueprint.

EDIT: I remember now the Installation Guide I couldn't find for love nor money. And that seems ideal, actually as it would make them so much more likely and have a decent # production runs, and I suspect being T2 it would be worth the material loss)

Are there any skills or other tips to raising the production runs resulting from invention, or at least any general advice on making it profitable, or is this the best I can hope for?

Thanks!

EDIT: further question, could I go about obtaining decryptors myself? The market seems to be completely dry of the better ones. :(

2 runs is normal when you start with a max run BPC and a decryptor for +1 run. Because of copy time, most ship invention is done with 1 run BPC.

If you have a 100% max run T1 BPC you get 1 / 10 max run T2, and in this case the T2 has 10 max runs = 1 run + 1 run from decryptor.

Note that Interceptors are probably one of the worst ships to invent for profit.

To be honest this was more an experiment than an attempt at profit so I'm not concerned with actually manif these particular ones just wanted to explore the invention process a bit.

I never thought of doing 1 run copies, figured that would cap the invented ones but if not that'll be a big help. Thanks!

Max runs for ammo and mods/anchorable structures.
1 run copies for frigs.

Profitablity for t2 ships, stick to bombers, assault frigs, and covert ops. The stiletto makes a profit I think, but most cepters do not. Savers may, nothing the same size or bigger does without luck, decrypters, or building the components yourself.
