Eve and my router don't get along (constantly getting disconected)

I've started playing eve again and its all swell and fun but after playing for an amount of time my router seems to fall over for a bit and won't let any of the computers connected to it connect to the internet. Frustrating thing is, when I connect to the router it says everything is OK resetting it seems to fix it but it would be nice to know how to stop it happening in the first place.

Has anyone had an issue similar to this?
