This is not your usual pvp video.
We didn't win the fight.

Operation Borscht took place in February 2012. The goal was to evict Battletech Technologies from their C5 system. We had a history with them ganking us and hiding in their POS after, not giving us the opportunity to fight back. No one likes that kind of behaviour in W-space, so we planned on getting rid of them at some point. Finally we had that opportunity.

Moved in our fleet undetected, waited for the right time to strike, locking most of their fleet outside of their system in the process. We quickly reinforced their whole system and watched them self destruct most of their assets, including a number of capital ships, faction battleships and T3's.

While we were waiting for the timers to run down a K162 opened into the system, and our scout reported a large KEEN fleet on the other side.
Knowing that they get bored easily, eager to fight, we decided to warp in without checking their side for backup, fleet comp.. full blown Leeroy Jenkins. Since this was not our home system but an hole we invaded, we didn't have our usual pvp ships in here, mostly POS bashers, as we didn't expect a fight from the locals. We put together a fleet consisting of recons, BC's, BS's and caps, less then ideal to fight an organised T3 gang with Bhaalgorn, damnation and carrier support. But we couldn't care less at that point, we were thirsty for bood.
Eventualy we realised that we cannot win that one, saving whatever ships we could, resulting in ADHC's first ever capital ship loss. We're glad that at least it was to someone that knows what they're doing, instead to some random WH gank ;)
We made tons of mistakes, which resulted in taking nearly 17 bil isk in loses, but we're glad we did. The worse thing to do in w-space it to get too confident.
