This is for those who think that CCP does not ban bots because they will lose money.

Example 1.

RMT Site purchases Eve Time Codes using stolen Credit Card /Hack Bank Accounts via a number of different non-official Eve SItes.

RMT Agent creates new account and activaties its via PLEX brought with isk generated via botting.

RMT Agent uses Time Codes to reedem PLEX.

Player visits RMT Site and purchases Isk.

RMT Agent contacts player in game and offer PLEX as an alternative to Isk.

They offer the PLEX at below current market rates which mean player will actually recieve more isk then they purchased when they come to sell the PLEX.

How does CCP benifit from this?

Example 2.

Again RMT Site purchases Eve Time Codes using stolen Credit Card /Hack Bank Accounts via a number of different non-official Eve SItes.

RMT Agent creates new account and activaties its via PLEX brought with isk generated via botting.

RMT Agent uses Time Codes to reedem PLEX.

RMT agent uses PLEX to purchase a new character.

RMT Agent uses this character to Bot with.

They use the isk generated from botting to keep account active.

This Character stays active until CCP Banned the character twice.

At this point they can either continue Botting with this character and risk a perma ban or sell the character on.

Again how does CCP make money out of this.

Does anyone have constructive comments they would like to state?

Because this thread has once again dwindled into stupidity.
And you wonder why nothing ever gets heard/done.

1. Someone thinks nullsec should only be accessible through wh's (are you kidding me lol) Roll
2. Two other people can't decide if CCP likes bots or not (that is not even the point of this thread) Roll

If there are no intelligent people actually playing this game then you deserve whatever you get out of it.
Does anyone have anything they would like to add/tell/say to the CSM's or CCP?

If not?
Then I guess all is well...

AFK Cloaking.

Its actaly become a tatcic now to have throw away alts - ones trained to fly cloaks and drop covert cyno's.

Leave said alt wherever you want to camp 23/7. Do all the important things on you're main char (mine/rat/pvp) - while checking on the alt cloaker periodicly.

When juicy targets appear - light covert cyno - jump gang in - get kills - log out after aggression timer.

Needs counter - Again CCP refuzes to touch on the issue because - before the incarna stint - it would have caused too many QQ's from the people whom employ this tatic, and bias with the people who run the show liking using this technique themselves.

Provide a reasonable counter or change cloaking.

have made a thread a while back stating the very thing to fix this issue. it would be a skill that would allow you to scan down the resonance of the cloaking device, since it is a elcetrical device it would in some aspect make a sound or electric vibration. so we take a skill that allow you to scan down a ship to with in a certain ammount of area per level. simple easy problem solved

Seems to me that so called counter to afk cloaking would be easily countered by a simple macrobot. Don't you?
