I'm a bit surprised to read the kind of posts we see on this page. Aemynn, not only you managed to do to guys exactly what you don't want done to the female part of society (seriously offend, and in this particular case it was obviously intentional, unlike that poor guy that opens the door for some girl because he was taught to do so by his grannie), but you also failed to provide sound reasoning as to why it is bad to compare your likeness to that of others.

In real life it is a common practice, and a conscious one, to compare yourself to someone else. Hell, that's what most advertising is based on - maybe you should go after those folks that make ads? Plus, in this case all the avatars are going to be judged by a girl, and I dare say none of the guys here feel in any way offended because of that.

And that attack on Grumpymunky, one of the nicest people on the forums, once again proves that some double standard gets applied. You don't want yourself judged on your appearance, yet you are quick to pass your own judgement on his looks.

Hope I didn't offend you in any way, because that was not my intention. I do, however, also hope that you could be a bit more constructive, or, at least, more argumentative about your statements, because, the way they are formed now, it is not merely voicing your personal opinion, but something you assume we should accept as the ultimate truth.

You all should probably realize that Aemynn if most likely "roleplaying" a sadistic, over intelligent, psycho, sociopath pilot that has probably had her pod shot down just few times too many for the clone factory to keep up with and re-process the part of the brain that would house normal civility... yes?

I got a chuckle out of it anyway...
