I just wanted to let everyone know to be careful in Jita.

Some trolls have decided to copy my isk-doubling business. Their chat messages and bios look very similar to mine, but there is a catch! They are NOT doubling isk!

For a little of a backstory, I never tried th isk doublers until I had around a billion isk built up. Then I decide to see which ones were legit and which ones were not. I found the following two types, and then I created the third:

1. Idiot Scammers- these scammers would take any and all isk and not return anything. They appear sometimes to be bots because they engage in zero conversation. These people are idiots and make the least because they scam on the very first try.

2. Smart Scammers- these scammers will double your isk at the lower levels and then keep it at the higher levels. They make more than the ones above, but still limit themselves with their small thinking.

3. Legit Business- this is what I started. I found that by setting up rules in bio and telling people to read rules, that I would get so many inelligible investments to pay for all my legit doubles! It sounds crazy and scammy, but it works like crazy. It started as a test, but still to this day I get enough people that fail at reading simple rules to pay for all my doubles and triples and beyond. Now I get more business from referrals than from chat in Jita. Thankfully people just send others my way as "legit" and most do not explain rules much lol

... so back to my story. I had been broke for so long. I would build up some isk, then spend it all on toys. Then one day some guy came into local chat and was giving away tons. I managed to get about 400m from this stranger.

I realized that I had to turn this into something instead of spending it all, so I started training up my market skills and looking at trading. Before long, I made it to 1 billion isk just from buying low and selling high.

I then turned my attention to the isk doublers. Through a bunch of small amounts, generally 5m or so, I tested out a bunch of the doublers. Most were outright scammers, the #1 type above. They risk nothing but their time and keep every investment. These guys are probably poor unless they do it every day all day.

Then I stumbled across a handful of the #2's. Morgan le'Fley (sp?) was one of these. I would start at 5m, then use greed AGAINST them and increase my bets exponentially. So, 1st bet might be 5m, then 25m then 100m, or something like that. She would double a few and then stop and block you, then use alts or friends to harrass you if you complained in chat. I fronted isk to a number of friends and split the profits- tons.

Well, long story short, through the use of throw-away alts and friends, I made a killing off of these until my list of targets went dry.

I decided to test out a theory. Since it was true that people fall for the many other scams in Jita, like contract scams where there are 2 closed contracts for 1m and the 3rd is 1b, due to people being in some rush, I decided to test out whether a legitimate isk doubling business could work. I would just setup some simple rules and payout those who followed the rules. I told myself I would stop if I lost a billion isk.

Well, the most I was ever down was like 200m. It was a WILD SUCCESS!

To this day, I do not understand why so people won't take a minute to read my rules. Instead they just throw isk at me wanting it doubled. About 9/10 people fail to read the rules. It's like the 80/20 rule but better. well not quite, because keeping isk from rule breakers and paying out legit ones, probably gets me closer to 70% wins overall. But STILL... it's absolutely nuts.

Anyway, I was also surprised how long it took for people to try to mimic me.

STARTING TODAY I have a couple people knocking off my chat messages and bio. I think they are mainly doing this to troll me because they were some of the rule-breakers in the past and sent me isk to fund those that can read and are not morons.

So, I just wanted to let you guys know to watch out for them beause you might not get your isk returned, let alone doubled!

Actually it makes huge sense, i admit i love to play the little random games people toss up esp. if its legit! i dont mind losing or messing up if its my own fault! Needless to say ive played Erotica's game once was mining and doing homework wasnt paying attention and failed one of the rules resulting in a loss , however i tried again the next day, properly btw, and game worked as intended, i made my money back and some on the side! Althou i wonder if she knows you figured out the rules if you can still keep playing XD I wont use numbers or list rules due to respect for someone whos legit.

I personally find it curious that none of these scammers, including the OP, *NEVER* send me 1 Billion so I can send them back 500 million. I just don't get it.

All Wardecs on my corp caused by people who rage when they don't follow rules are completely paid for by me. So if you want to send us some ships to kill, have at it. I love how the trolls come out just for fun while others play the game and make isk. I agree that 99% of what's in jita is an outright scam. You will find that out when you give my copycats your isk and they keep it. But there is a 1% out there believe it or not.

But yes you are right, it is a new corp with many new players. But that's how we learn right.
