A guy gave me an orca once. Well, he ejected from it, so I assumed it was for me and boarded it myself. I use it to scoop all the POS mods and towers people are kind enough to unanchor for me.

In my early days....

... I was doing the Sisters of Eve mission arc scraping by with a Coercer which was fine until I reached the final two missions and I just didn't have the firepower to break the tank of the NPCs at the end. I was also nowhere near the needed skills for a Cruiser to finish the missions off.

Two seperate occasions (once for each mission) I piped up in local and asked for help. Both time someone volunteered to help me finish the job. The last mission the guy also gave me ISK to upgrade my Implants for +2 to +4.

To pay it forward, I usually try to answer those calls when I come across them and I usually kick the guy some ISK to upgrade implants if he needs it.

It makes me feel good to be nice to the new bros, this game is challenging enough as it is.

I had an old corp mate give me about 9bil worth of assets recently because I knew I was low on isk, he said he was going to quit "this ****** game"

A year ago me and another corp mate of mine got 2 bil each from a miner we had suicide ganked and afterwards recruited to our corp... he quit eve a month later... I have also been generous myself when I met new players, throwing advice at them, and maybe a little isk

I can be a bad guy and a good guy :) like everyone else
