De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

Though I am compelled to point out there should be a -1 option for people. Having only one option says nothing for the discussion.

Can I temporarily log on all of my dormant accounts and give a + 1 with each?
Will each +1 still be worth as much in the eyes of CCP in terms of recognizing votes?

oh Snap! No he didn't!
Oh, yes... I most certainly did.

Agree with this to a point. I think devs need to listen to the players and using crowdsourcing as a means of input is a great idea but CCP should always look towards game balance whenever looking at suggestions or requests from the players.

For example:
Folks are up in arms about Super Carriers being the way they are but if you were around back then you should recall that CCP was going to tone them down before they went live then a huge outcry happened on the forums and they wound up putting them in 'as is' and we are now where we are now with super carriers.

But I do agree, CCP needs to stop focusing their attentions on things that are meaningless to players and have little to no impact on the quality of the game.

I would add:
CCP also needs to improve their QA process to prevent such incredibly glitchy major update deployments. Implementing a patch/update to the game shouldn't break game mechanics that already worked, especially when it's flaws that are easily identified with simple boundary testing.
