You anchor the egg and then fill it with the required mats before downtime. Then when the server comes back up, your station will be there.

So you really don't assemble the egg.

i ment when you build the egg initially, from the parts.
im just wondering if i build the parts in a outpost, will i be able to build teh egg in that outpost, or does it have to be an npc station that the final process is done.

I tried building my first egg on SISI just for the experience and to get a better idea of the logistics involved.
I was not able to assemble the egg in the outpost I was in but it was not a factory outpost. I don't think that would make any difference, but have not tested it. It might be a mechanic to prevent large alliances from easily building more outposts in secure null sov space.

If you could assemble the egg in a neighboring system, and not have to slow boat it in a freighter from an empire station, we would see a lot more deep space outposts I think.

If I am incorrect I hope someone with experience in outpost construction on TQ can clarify, but as far as I know and have tested on SISI you can not assemble an egg in an outpost. Assembling the egg is the easy part though. getting to the deployment system, and filling it with the mats is the real job.

Yes you can. We built our outpost in branch next door. It's much easier to move parts than the egg. You will find the upgrade more difficult to set up.

Confirm, you can build the egg (and subcomponents) in an outpost just fine. As mentioned above, upgrades and upgrade foundations will have to be moved the hard way, though.

So does it have to be a factory outpost or outpost with factory upgrade?

Just wondering as, like I said previously when I tried on SISI I got a message something like "this module can not be constructed at this facility". The outpost I tried at barely had manufacturing, only two manufacturing slots.
Or is this something you can do on TQ but not on SISI? perhaps to avoid every null sec system having an outpost there.

to use the mimmatar service outpost platform blueprint all you need is a "manufacturing" assembly line. wich there is in all outpost atleast 2 off.

The egg cannot be assemblied in station but it can be buildt in station, There is a slight difference in the wording of it, to assembly the egg means to build the outpost, to build it is to make the "egg" i have build severall outpost and eggs in my time.

ps no upgrade are necessary to any outpost in order to build the egg all station last i checked have atleast 2 factory slots.
