The worst of luck...

After spending the past month missing sleep and working around a strict work schedule to watch every match of this wonderful tournament, I was about to enter my (wrong) entry for the final battle for a chance to win five plexes while watching the live stream.

Suddenly the stream freezes and my first thought was a repeat of last week's issues.

Then I notice my modem is not flashing all its lights.

One phone call to Comcast and well...

...my internet connection just came back online. Cry

This is the equivalent of watching American football the whole season, through the play-off games, and the moment the Super Bowl is about to start - *poof*.

Damn do I have the worst of luck (save for winning a plex this year).

While there will be the replay, it is not the same (to me).

Anyway, thanks to CCP, the commentators, and all the participants for an "awesome" tournament!

I know how you feel. I have had connection troubles for the past couple weeks, missed out all of yesterday due to connection loss. Today I didn't risk it, drove across the city and kicked my bro off his own computer. While missing the excitement of the final and the chat stream is a loss, The previous semi's matches were the real ones to watch, so hopefully you were able to get the excitement with them. It was an emotional ending, with the closing music, lead into the battle, et al, but the true spirit of it all can be found in this video, the last video and final farewell by CCP Loxy

watch it and the emotion of the most extreme video game pvp tournament in the world draws to a close.

To quote Lfod Shi

The ratting itself is PvE. Getting away with it is PvP.
