Death, rebirth, death rebirth...and what of it? Maybe your argument was so insignificant in my eyes that I felt no need to address it. But if I must. While you can be revived in a clone of yourself over and over again, at what point does that become both frustrating and expensive? Does the fact that you are immortal make you more likely to stand in thought while someone destroys your home, your ship and or your station?

You see, just because I can be pushed off a mountain and be revived in a new body does not mean I will allow it to happen. And yes, while there are those out there significantly more experienced than I, all things come to an end eventually.

That you cannot see the difference between tempered wisdom and blind passion is what leads you to this conclusion of dynamic opposites being the only reality. One need not leap head first into every situation to take action unless the ultimate desire is to lose one's head.

It is the wise and effective man which thinks before he acts, acts on what he knows and knows his actions and their consequences intimately. It is this man that shakes worlds, writes history and rattles hearts. It is the former that dies forgotten.

Id much rather carve a wide swath in front of me. Whatever consequences come from this 'imprecise' attitude will be the lessons that I learn from. While you investigate the structure you wish to demolish for the right component to pull out which causes a total chain reaction of collapse, Id much rather put a smartbomb inside and have my minions sift through the rubble.

Have no fear then, you will accomplish your dreams. Your minions will be sifting through the rubble of your life in due time. My heart is saddened that many others will suffer from your foolish recklessness.

Indeed I will. At first just a ship, now a small fleet, later an empire. And every drop of blood shed, be it my own, those of my enemies or of those who serve it will have been for the greatest good.

All I see is overly flowery words, back-peddling and fallacious thinking.

You did not have one thousand warships at your door. You had a wise mentor at your door (or airlock as it were) and behaved like an inpatient brat.

I understand your way of thinking better than you think. Only, I was jaded. I doubt that you have been provoked into being the way that you are - you simply are. Regardless, I have been where you are.

My anger has not faded. In fact, the opposite is true. I do not doubt for a moment that I am better for 'swallowing' it, however, and tempering myself. I know that I have friends and allies that I can call upon. I can reach out to the hearts of billions of people. If I let myself slip, those bonds would crumble. If you give in to the void, it is that void where your legacy will end.

There is nothing "flowery" in anything I say. And again, your words are as useless as an EM missile on the shields on my latest Battlecruiser. Yes the latest. I grow more and more each day. The fire has served me well this far, I dont see that ending anytime soon. So continue your useless prattle as my shadow continues to expand much faster than the sound of your own voice.

Again, falsehood. You're blinded with false premises about what is tangible progress. Is it measured in our capabilities as starship pilots? The pair of us progress each day as pilots. Certification is trivial for our advanced learning abilities and powers of acclimation.

However, your flame's fuel dwindles each day. My friendships grow stronger, as does my spirit and my willpower. As a result, more of my people can prosper.

Do not allow yourself to be trapped by delusion. Take my offer of a private conversation.

I never will. Im more than likely the most self-centered, self absorbed and utterly narcissistic person you will ever meet. But in all honesty, right now im just in response mode.

It's doubtful.

Oh but I am with very good reason. There arent many female captains who would not wish to have me in their quarters. My fury goes for more than the universe at large.

Cease your mewling. If you are not strong enough to accept my council or respond meaningfully, then this thread has no further value for discussion.

I am offering you an opportunity to improve yourself. You reject that and with no clear reason except apparent foolhardiness.

Amusing. What could you possibly offer me in efforts to "improve" myself. More importantly, what makes you think you could trust me? Why would I not show you the same treatment as any other who would hinder my growth?

Your disbelief at my statement and lack of comprehension shows how far you have to go. Furthermore, the fact that you think that me trusting you fits anywhere into the equation is interesting. I'm not massively concerned about what you attempt to do to me in person. You'll find that I practice good soft-scan backup habits among other precautions for my safety.

Again. Stop the blocking behavior, or let your thread rot.

Blocking behavior? Hmm, your talk is somewhat...difficult to fathom. If it made more sense I could possibly give a more focused reply. And should this thread rot, so be it.

I like your style, Arakkis.

You've accepted that you have few limits should your will be strong enough.

Let's see if you proceed on an upward trajectory or flame out before reaching orbit like so many others with promising careers.

Finally one who sight goes beyond the narrow views of the many. . Its slightly appaling that others cannot see the obvious. So keep a good watch out for me, my ambition is only outmatched by my determination.

Nobody's views are narrow here, whelp. I do not question the strength of your will, I question how you temper it. The blocking behavior refers to the show of 'look at how many fucks I'm giving' in the face of advice. If you just wish to parade, I can recommend several venues that exist only for it's patrons to show off.

For once, I don't disagree with the delightful Silas. However, simply embracing your freedom is not enough.
