there is lot of unsolved mysteries in EVE.

Solve those 1st.

Example CCP added some mystery dungeons on some point, why they did it is still mystery at least to me.

More missions, more exploration options, and more random NPC encounters can only be a good thing.

My idea for an event that takes place once every 3 months:

A freighter undocks from a random station in a random system, it could be anywhere, high, low, or null.
The freighter makes a random amount of jumps through random systems, but always at least 30 jumps to give people time to find it.
The freighter then docks at a random station before disappearing for another 3 months.
If someone finds the freighter while on it's journey, they will be pleased to see 24 PLEX sitting in it's cargo bay.
Engaging the freighter will require a group of players, as significant NPC reinforcements will be called-in to aid the freighter, resulting in what would hopefully be a showy and good fight requiring tactics and teamwork.
If the freighter could be engaged in high sec without incurring CONCORD intervention, all the better.

I have a real mystery for you to solve:

There was that dude in Jita, axe master, or master axe, something like that who kept saying, at least thrice per day, "any naughty women here?"

What did he want? What did he expect? Was he hoping to find the love of his life in Jita local? And if he wasn't trolling, why did he block me when I laughed at him? Was his existence as sad as it seems?

Eve too complicated? Try Astrum Regatta.

Same thing really as it turns out.

In this dark void we are like brilliant stars, holding within us both the creative and destructive power to bring a new dawn upon worlds or plunge them into eternal darkness.

It feels as though the story and background of Eve is one of the lowest priorities at CCP. I hope I'm wrong :|

Unfortunately haven't seen it this year... but I always wanted to see if someone in the tournament would risk disqualification by fitting a cyno to their ship and try to get people into jove space. I think the tournament system might've been in pretty close proximity to northern perrigen falls.

It would be a big claim to fame and maybe ccp would allow it :P

CCP has done an admirable job of reducing the magnificence and mysteries of the cosmos to the bunch of boring rocks. Imagine what EVE would be like if you really did face the unknown out there... But too many prefer Team Fortress in space for that to ever become a reality.

Just once I want to suddenly and unexpectedly come face to face with a really pissed off sleeper supercap. Perhaps some old doomsday super that flies around and "feeds" on POS.

Can you imagine the tears! It would be lovely to see an ad-hoc fleet formed to take that thing down.

They did a great job with the expansion bringing wormholes in the game. Problem is, what was "the unknown" for some month, is today very well known. We need more *truly unknown* content like wormholes were at the beginning. After all, if you put aside drunk people, this game is (supposed to be) a lot about exploration and discovery.

That is true. CCP completely put a halt to CCP-Sponsored Live Events. I think several of the CCP Devs believe that folks are just content with purely player generated RPing.

As seen on the Arek'Jaalan Project, after CCP Dropbear's departure and the complete halt of the Live Events, the participation level has been at its lowest.
