Avoiding POCO tax

My main is about to join up in a small indy corp that is attached to an alliance that is located in in Null sec.

I am looking to setup a POS to do some work down that way. I have had a look around and one planet i need to perform some PI on it has a POCO from another corp. because it is a good planet to have a POCO on they have set the tax rate at 100%.

Now i know that i could just ask the alliance to blow it up but i wanted to know if i was to just jettison the stuff it produces into space would i avoid the tax?

i would be producing T2 stuff so the volume wouldn't be as high.

cheers

Launching from command center is not worth it. On a good planet you will literally be waiting for hours to launch all the mats made per day off the planet (at 500m3 limits). And if the planet isn't one of the few types you can make P3 on, or even P2's you'll just end up with a huge bunch of wasted mats.

The only reason to build on that planet would be to ruin the yields that corps members get per day. Other than that you'll just be making yourself miserable.

One option would be to contact the corp owning the POCO and ask if they'd adjust the tax rate for you. If not then by all means burn their POCO.

Launching from CC
500m3 per launch.
15% tax
Collecting the launched goods is safer than visiting the POCO.

A expedited transfer to the CC generates a cooldown. Until it wears off, no transfer can be performed.
The lenght of the cooldown depends on the transfer capacity of the used link.
So upgrading a link from spaceport to CC tree times results in a Cooldown of give/take 5 minutes.

I have used CC launches in the past, doing ninja PI (P2) in WH space.

If you are not in the alliance or corp yet that is prob your problem. Pocos can be set to have differernt rates for people so if you are not blue to them that is most likely the issue
