Logi lost it for them due to warp in. He landed far too close to them. Still think PL would have beaten RvB (predicted it in the thread last week!), but I think if the logi had survived RvB might have got enough points to progress. Anyway, all the best next year.

Our logi warped in at 50, while the rest of our fleet landed at 0. PL warped in at 50. Due to the angle, the logi ended up only 50 from PL as well. They pretty much had a straight burn towards it.

I mean.. how much was this match picked by random chance? how much was player skill? well imo both teams were kick ass so we'll never know

I think Ravi said that in your test fights the RvB setup won. If that is so what made the difference in your match you think, and what would you of done different if you were RvB?


I still hope to see a reply for this though. And maybe from CCP on the future of the warp in mechanics for AT11. : )

Could just have easily been us instead of you, things break that way unfortunately.

Excellent run this year, I know us and PL will do our try our best to show that Group H was without a doubt the best group out there.

It was just bad luck that your Onieros got screwed over by the beacon choice. Any other beacon and the correct team would of won it. :(

I too am curious to know if the warp in angle was the clincher....Totally serious offer, Im down for a best 2 out of 3 on Sisi if you are!

I agree with splitting damage not being a good idea started out going after the scimitar then all of a sudden damage was split between the scimitar and the slepniar then it went back to focusing damage on the scimitar and took it down then they took down the slepniar but by that time they didn't have enough time to get the second slepniar had the damage not been split for as long as it was they may have been able to get the points needed to advance PL probaly still would have won.

Could RvB have come into the match 38 points under to guarentee going through?
Or at that point when they deploy the team do they not know how the points fall?
