Supplies are running low. Not much longer, I fear. Not much longer until we can't hold out any more.

The Republic Fleet M Ammo was the first to go. Goddamn auto-cannons and their high RoF doomed the Loki pilots from the start. We tried to get them to switch to Hardpoint Efficiency Configuration in the hopes that our missiles would hold out longer, and they'd always have drones for backup but in their arrogance, the pilots declared split weapons systems "lame".

Besides, how would we convert? Changing subsystems means leaving back to high sec, and it's not safe there. It's not safe anywhere.

Now our missiles have run out and the blaster ammo isn't far behind. We are left with a meagre and dwindling army of drones, and I heard a Legion pilot say that there's less than a week's worth of T2 Scorch left.


Day 34:
We tried to run a Sleeper site today, but had to flee. It's the last time we'll try, I fear. What's the point? There is no one to bring to blue loot to, even if we could finish them off. At least the Falcon's ECM will never run out. Everyone got out alive, for whatever that's worth. Just more bodies filling up the CHA and SMA of our last POS.

The rest are offline. I watched the force fields blink out one by one, as the towers waited for fuel that would never come. Our planets are still working, of course, but Unar has stopped hauling, declaring it to be like "feeding a coma victim".


Day 39:
They killed Zackgar on Monday. I don't know why. They've left his frozen corpse floating in space at Tower 1, like a strange offering to an uncaring god, next to an anchored can that's been renamed "We're sorry."

Hidden Fremen warped off to the deep safe spot three days ago and we haven't seen on heard from him since. I assure you that the only cutting and pasting that happened was from the transcript of a captain's journal recovered by salvagesr in dangerous unknown space. Technicians believe the recording to be authentic, though no one has been able to decipher the carvings on the casing aside from one section that simply reads "Sebo" over and over again in densely layered scrawl.

So hungry

Ran some calculations today on how much energy is required to heat up frozen corpses using energy turrets loaded with multifreqency in a vacuum. Hot enough for the enough of the core to retain heat in the time that it takes to scoop the corpse. The low % of consumable flesh from a single corpse is appallingly low.

Maybe if we pooled our stash of corpses, bound them together in some fashion, that could produce a more favorable ratio of Surface Area to Volume such the meat will retain heat long enough for it to be scooped. Will 27,500m3 be enough?
