If you are new comer to EVE, why you have to form your own corp?

There is lot of good corporations for every aspect of EVE who can teach how to play and they can manage to handle wardecs.

And it does not even cost anything.

If getting ganked, wardecced, or otherwise shat on makes someone want to quit this game, then this isn't the game for them.

I got ganked plenty of times as a noob. I lost my share of drakes that had a full rack of arbalest heavy launchers in the highs. It never made me want to quit, it just made me want to get better and do the same to other people.

This game rewards people who are intelligent and aware. It relentlessly punishes those who are not. That's exactly why I love it.

From my experience hi-sec is much more dangerous for player corp than npc null or sov space. Staying in hi sec is moderately safe only in npc corporation. Best place for carebears is some stable sov space.

I was in some hi-sec corps on my start and it was very anoying time for me, hi sec is full of scammers, ninjas, trolls and suicude gankers which just would be poped in nulsec. If i would be starting eve again i would go straight to sov now.

Here is a scenario that is played out many times in highsec. All names have been changed to protect the innocent and guilty.

A half dozen newer (-2 months) pilots get together and decide it would be cool to do some carebear stuff... Mine, Mission run, Haul stuff, etc. They shout CAREBEAR INC we’ll call it!

A small (three pilots) highsec wardec corp (WAR INC) sees them in local, checks out their corp info and notices with the exception of one pilot that is six months old the rest are around a month making them very easy targets. This shouldn't be a problem since all three WAR pilots are older than two years and have high skills. A few hours of quick research reveals pretty much everything they need to know. 24 hours and 50 mil ISK later the war starts.

The CAREBEAR noobs sit cluelessly at a belt when these three flashy things warp in... Oh no! Their CEO doesn’t really have much more sense than the rest but he is smart enough to warp the fleet once he realizes what is going on. Half of them make it to safety but it’s too late for three of the ships and one pod.

The CAREBEAR CEO cries to the WAR CEO about how he will report him to CCP but the WAR CEO laughs and explains it’s all within the rules of the game.

The CAREBEAR CEO rallies his pilots and says “We won't take this lying down!” He gets in his Drake and convinces two more pilots to fly a Caracal and a Kestrel. He challenges the WAR CEO to a fight!

The WAR CEO says we’ll take you on! They all warp to the first planet. WAR brings two Hurricanes and a Harbinger. The fight is over in seconds and the noobs are confused why they died so fast. A quick look at the killmail shows the Drake was T2 but active tanked... The Caracal and kestrel were all T1 and completely fail fitted.

After a few more skirmishes the CAREBEAR CEO tells his members that they have no chance against the all powerful WAR pilots... The WAR CEO decides since these guys are so easy they will extend the war another week or two...

The end result is...

The CAREBEAR corp falls. Three of their pilots never get back online. Their subscription has expired. They decided they could not compete in the world of Eve. CCP lost $45 a month.

The other three left the corp and moved on to other corps. I’m not sure what happened to them in the long run.

I’m not saying end wars but currently wars are so cheap and fighting a bunch of noobs gets you some real easy kills without having to leave the safety of highsec. I’m speaking from knowledge of both aspects. I currently have pilots as the CEO of a highsec wardec corp and the CEO of the carebear corp.

Killing noobs can be lots of fun but I hate to see them leave the game...

When it comes to war decs against my carebear pilot I’m not going anywhere. Some of my newer members will quit Eve or leave my corp but I can just stay docked up for a few months and wait out any war. I’ve been playing Eve almost three years so a few month break will give me time to set some long skills. A month old player isn’t going to stay docked up more than a week or two before he decides that Eve just isn’t any fun and stops paying for his account.

Does anyone have thoughts or suggestions?

I think this is the point where the slightly more experienced Corporation CEO then contacts a mercenary corporation or asks for help either in local or a help channel and the three small time pvpers are beaten into submission.

EVE could implement a ranking system. Like High school/College sports.

Where as: A triple A corp simply cannot dec a single A corp.

Rankings would be based on:
Total kills
Total member count
Kill ratio
Etc.

Some corps would still be crushed. And some players would make endless new corps to exploit the system. But a corp that wants a history would adapt and grow.

Just a thought...

Move your corp to lowsec. Most highsec dec corps don't want the added risk and will look for easier targets.

as an added bonus, your pilots will learn how to adapt to operating in a hostile environment, & how to better work together.

Noone should be able to Create a corp until they are 1 or 2 year old in game, then at least you'll have a CEO just with a minimum knowlage.

OP, I've also seen plenty of situations like that. I moved between several carebear corps over a year and a half, acting as a pvp director for the corps. For any carebear corp of a reasonable size (I think the corp in your description is probably a bit undersized, but wardecs frequently occur to larger corps with the same results) I think it is imperative to have someone on hand who knows what they're doing when it comes to pvp. Someone who is willing to FC clearly and patiently, to teach basic things about pvp to people who are completely new to the concept and make use of whatever they can convince people to undock.

The most effective strategy I've found is to take time to train some members (usually only a few will be remotely interested anyway) so that the corp does have a small fighting force if needed. It's important for corps to be able to keep morale up in a time of war. Being station camped leads to boredom, then to members not logging in, lack of activity then you start losing members fast. Throw in a couple of expensive losses and your corp is in serious trouble.

Being able to take down one or two enemy ships as an act of revenge will really help rally your members to your side. Everyone, whether they know it or not can contribute to the fight in some way. Having a corp stash of tackling rifters and DPS destroyers negates any loss that carebears may take when forced to fight a war. If they ***** about thier implants, slap them and remind them that they should have jumpclones ready for times like these Lol.

Overall, make sure your corp stays happy, keeps fighting and comes out stronger the other side. I find it's not the wardec that kills most corps, but the weeks following.
Good luck!

P.s, paying your pvp guy is also a nice gesture... jus' sayin

EDIT: Yoppari makes a great argument above... you could always move to lowsec! Here's a link to a good guide on living as a carebear in lowsec: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=117861&find=unread
