Poor little OP seems to be frustrated, but carefull at not misunderstanding things.

All the 'main' threads about avatars are directly linked to EvE, as they are the only way for us to try to reach some kind of.. almost 'perfection' if we listen to the feedback we have (and yes, an avatar thinking something is some sort of feebadk).

Somehow then, that's the 'end-game content' if you want to play with the avatar editor. Eh, there is no defined path in Eve ! Why shouldn't we have the right to play with this editor as well ? I like this experience of rating people above me, and I like to have fun reading the 'avatar above you thinking' thread.

That's a good thing also because these two threads, like some others you've quoted, are usually constructive and with clean discussions. There is no agressivity or things like that.
A way to counter threads like this one, that's a balance ! (So, in my explaination, you're justifying the existence of the threads you're declaiming, by this one !)

Finally, I would add that as long as CCP devs/GMs posts in these threads, following their initial purpose, I guess we can say that they tolerate, because they participate !

PS : Same thing for the like thread, why one's goal shouldn't be to get the more like possible ? That can be considered as a feature.

5or 6 from the how many threads ??? there is a row of little numbers at the bottom of your page ,, if you click on 2 you will go to page 2 where you find many more recent threads , click on the little 3 and you go to page 3 while most posts are a few days older they are still relelvant

Features and ideas? That makes even less sense. It's nice to have threads that aren't just EVE players whinging about something. EVE already has a terrible stigma for being an un-fun job instead of a game, the gaming community who don't even play EVE view it as "The spreadsheet app with spaceships sometimes" just like we view WoW as the "ezy mod derp herp game". You want to give them more ammo by cracking down on light hearted fun? EVE is cold and mean enough already.

This is general discussion, get a clue space Grinch.

Hes a miner now and has recruited about 4 friends into the game >.>

Perhaps some of those topics do have nothing to do with EVE? ..but leave the 'Rate the Avatar Above Me' thread alone. It's a great thread for people to get feed-back on their Avatars. You might not care about such a thread, but a lot of people do.
