Flashy Red in FW

Hi All,

I see alot of flashy red (sec status less than -5) in FW militias.

Isn't there some penalty (apart from the usual HS restrictions) to being flashy in FW?

And even that is debatable as to whether it's a pro or a con :)

There used to be, but CCP "fixed the glitch". It used to be that if you remote-repped somebody that was GCC or -5 security or below, you took a FACTION hit to your own militia. If you did this enough, you could get booted out of militia. This resulted in either no logi in fleets or FW folks trying to keep a decent security status. After this got fixed, pretty much everybody went full privateer (ie pirate).

Ah This was it....knew there was something bad about being flashy in FW.

So if this have been fixed then there isn't any real disadvantage being FW as a flashy then...

If I am not mistaken: Flashy red = War target. Solid red= outlaw. That is if you have default settings.

If I am not mistaken: Flashy red = War target. Solid red= outlaw. That is if you have default settings.


Depends on your settings, but wt should be flashy orange.

Personally, i have;

GCC/-5+ = Flashy Yellow
Faction War Targets = Flashy Orange
War Dec Target = Flashy Red

Bad players who don't update their overview should have all their assets explode and they're accounts deleted. Every time some FW newbro decides to friendly-fire on my innocent piwat fleetmates, I have to step in and defend them, costing me massive standings.

Power-grinding my faction standings from -2 to +0 in 24h is not my definition of fun...

Why settle for just one when you can have both?
