Im trying to see the boost i will get to several different nyx fittings im experimenting with

You're looking for the "projected effects" tab, which both EFT and Pyfa have.

In EFT, just drag a module (or environmental effect) from the modules listing into the tab to project it enable it. This applies your current skills and ship bonuses, module modifiers, etc to the effect. However, you can also project it from another ship setup by dragging it from one ship window into the other's projected effects window. This *should* (I think) use the projecting ship's bonuses and selected skill pattern.

In Pyfa, you right-click a module from the modules listing and "project module onto fit". For environmental effects (like wormhole pulsar effects) right-click the tab area and you can pick it from a list. I'm not sure how to project the effects of one ship (with bonuses and skills, etc) onto another ship, but I bet you can do it when you have multiple ship setup tabs open.

[ninja edited for projecting from one full setup to another]

In both cases I think it uses the current character skills to modify the module's effects as appropriate. I'm not sure how you can apply one set of skills to your ship, and another set of skills to the projected effect, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't possible.

Just dragging into the projected effects doesnt work with the gang assist modules, it does however work with nueting, shield tranpsports and what not.

See my ninja edit above. You can drag it from one ship setup window to the other in EFT.

I'm not sure about Pyfa, but in EFT, open the T3 boosting fit, select the boosting character. Then on your other fit, if you look at the bottom of the list of stats on the ship you'll see Fleet Commander, Wing Commander and Squad Commander. Right-click there and you should see a few options on what to set for each; one of them should be the boosting fit you opened earlier. Once you select it, the boosts will apply to the ship and you'll see the changes in stats.

For setting ganglinks in EFT, right-click the "bonuses from fleet commander" (or wing/squad commander) to set another ship setup as your booster.

[edit] and in Pyfa, use the 'fleet' tab.

(beaten to it!)
