The first part of what you said but second is a lie. You didn't say like "hey Nulli go play in Amarr Militia and get T5 and cash in a lot of navy armagaddons"

Just to clarify.

Endless isk from a broken Moon-goo update ran Nulli out of 0.0. Please don't harbor the thought that skill or capability had anything to do with it.
If you actually had to fight with the possibiliy of losing ships and not having the isk to replace them...you'd still be hiding in some dark corner of EvE. Cool

Oh ****, looks like we've got a bad-ass over here.

I usally write one of these and then change it a month later when I reread it and decide it sounds stupid.

The goons gave me my first Navy Mega for free, when I was a week old. I sold it and bought a ton of rifters.

Do not assume anything above this line was typed by me. Nerf the Truth, it's inconvenient.

ehh, I have nothing against Goonswarm,

I may not like a few of their players tactics, but many of the higher ranking members are quite helpful, at least they were to me. I learned about lowsec/null survival from them. I remember on another account I had, ran into a bunch of Bee's out in low sec heading towards null and they, of course, obliterated my my bustard. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time thinking I could transport some goods out there. But, the best part of it was that (keep in mind this was like 2 years or so ago) the Fleet Commander (I think) talked to me and actually asked me what the hell I was doing out there alone without an escort and gave me some pretty good tips. Which is more than I can say for many other guys that blew up my ships in low/null. It's usually followed by some guy saying "PWNED!!!" "mark another one for the boards!" "how'd that feel?! YEAH JOO STINK!" or some variation of an insult.

Their players are playing the game, that's all, least many of them don't rub it in. It's not like they are a bunch of Mao Tse-Tsung's marching through Tienanmen square saying "DO EET OR DIE!"

Helpful organization? Sure... they run a suicide helpline. What?

TBQF The only people being scammed for deposits are wannabe Goons; people who want to be Goons but don't really qualify because they failed the first trial.

I also don't think real newbies have the assets required to ragequit EVE, even if they get told to fly to VFK with all their stuff.
Too bad if they have more money than sense, especially if they don't learn from their mistakes.

Real newbies just throw away everything and come to VFK and we give them stuff.

Man, had I a laugh when i saw goonswarm in this list as well... That's pretty bad for new players isn't it CCP? I mean i always find the ZOMG GOONSWARM STOLE MY SECURITY DEPOSIT threads funny and everyone who doesn't 0 research does deserve it, but a newer player may trust (I know, right?) an official "Helpful Corps" list... especially coming from CCP...

So CCP please for the love of noob delete them from the list.

They help a very large number of new players, probably second only to eve uni.

goonswarm and test alliance are actually very newb friendly.

People just hate them because they got scammed by goons, but truth is goons will teach you more about eve then any highsec corp

goons private wiki is even better then the eveuni wiki. they dont have ******** rules like other 0.0 alliances have (ie; join CTA or quit)

wikis, how do they work?

the goonswarm entry was unsurprisingly added by a goon character (Osakran VosBosgernt, September 10th 2011)

although I agree that Goonwaffe are an awesome corporation for SA members that meet the entry requirements and probably one of the best newbie teaching organizations in EVE, I think at least a reference to Joining GoonWaffe to clarify the entry requirements would be in order.

reminds me of The Mittani's evelopedia page temporarily listing him as a generally trusted 3rd party on par with Chribba and Darkness.

Never not CTA only to dock up when a blob is camping your undock.

the general rule is; if we want you, and you're one of us, we shower you in isk, implants, skillbooks, and give you every piece of advice and anything else you need to survive in nullsec until you're self-sufficient.

If we don't want you, if you're on the outside, we literally look at all of you as either another idiot we get to shoot, or a living, breathing bank account ready to be emptied out.
