Some times it is a bit hard to find out whether or not a topic has been discussed and it is a bit difficult and really time consuming to sift through all of the information in the forum in order to find a specific topic so please be understand when I say I have searched for this topic and have not found it but have found things that sort of hint to it.

The goal with this suggestion is not to establish a standard outright but rather to throw an idea out and see if it is something that 1) people like and 2) see how many people pick up and brainstorm with it turning into something feasible that can be used so please before you shoot anything down, think about it.

Ok now down to business, I have been an industrialist since i first started playing eve, why well its easy to get into for one, and for second it will sustain my PvP habits too when I get to those and have the time to do so as I usually do my mining and such while I study for classes.

In my three years playing EVE I have been a part of a whole slew of different industrial corps all ran in very different manners from each other. However there is one problem each Ind. corps faces and tackles differently that always comes up. How do you make money in a corp enough to sustain benefits and pay and still have some left over for yourself. The biggest part of this issue i think is keeping the corp employees working for your corp. As of right now this is very difficult to do. The system I am recommending, having been a corp CEO at one point and time, does not do the job of divvying up funds or rescources or what have you for pay to the employees but rather facilitates it making it easier, more secure, and a bit more reliable. I recommend we come up with a way to track a players contribution to thier respective corp. Having been a CEO I did not want to pay a player wages for a week when he only logged in maybe once or twice that week to update his skill qeue. And as much as I would like to play EVE all the time, I just cannot. So having a way to track a players contribution to his or hers corp without having to be actively on all the time or have a system setup that relys entirely on a players trust would be really nice.

When I first started think about this I though maybe some sort of LP would be the best option, where a player would be able to earn LP for say every hour they were logged on or for every 10,000 minerals they put in the corp hangar and then those LP could be traded back to the corp for either items from a list like LP items in the NPC corps, or privileges like a one time fee for access to specific corp hangars like a spare parts hangar, or for ISK. Doing it this way makes it a bit too automated and more or less takes managing funds out of the CEO's hands or whoever would be in charge of the tasking. Now however, I think a way of just tracking how many hours a player works for the corp would be best, like when you clock in at work, then it is still up to the player to have the integrity to work for the corp while he is on the clock, and if he is just clocking in for the hours when really he is off doing his own thing and the Boss or CEO finds out then consequences can be made.

This method allows for a CEO to track exactly how many hours a player has worked for the corp while still leaving the windows of trust wide open. It does not dictate whether or not a corp employee will actually get paid, as it is still the responisibility of whoever is in charge of finances to see that the employees get paid. In addition to this I also think it would be best to be able to clear the clock after the individual has been paid or just clear the clock period so keeping track of hours upon hours in not so hard. you login at the end of the week, check the hours, pay the employees, if you should decide to do so, and then wipe the board clean for a fresh start.

In short I guess i am saying that it seems a bit unfair that PvPers have Killmail and the industrialsist have to make thier **** up, if i knew how to program i guess it would not be too much of a problem but i do not.
