Eve running slowly following infrastructure upgrade

Hi all. Following today's infrastructure upgrade, Eve appears to be running unusually slowly. I was expecting to see posts on this already, so maybe it's an unrelated issue that's only affecting me. Anyone else having problems?

Ubuntu 12.04, Wine 1.5.6

Tried reinstalling Eve to see if it made any difference. Now stuck on blank EULA. I have winetricks corefonts installed. Help?

Patience is a virtue. EULA appeared in the end.

No change to original problem, however.

WINEs 1.5.6-1.5.8 had some regressions in 3D performance.

1.5.9 was published yesterday.

Give it a try.

Thanks Katrina. I actually just reverted to 1.4, as per this thread, which worked wonders (but killed sound, there's always something). I'll give 1.5.9 a go and see what happens.

lol i wouldnt call 190+ fps down to 30 at best in station and slide show outside of station a regression its like going from 3d accelerated to software mode lol...

the irony is my laptop which i reverted 1.4.1 to play eve on has ubuntu and now it runs fine minux the disco ball do to intel drivers just plan sucking. But it doesnt suffer the same 1.4.1 audio distortion the audio is perfect. as it was in 1.5.8 with the 3d regression.
