Highsec blops ganking?

Is this possible? Could you effectively gank a someone in an alpha BLOPS ship (Tachyon Redeemer?) and then jumpdrive into low sec?

If I recall correctly, using any means to escape Concord is a bannable offense. Unless these are war-targets...if they are, then why run? Snipe and camp the stations.

I understand that, in terms of the orca/ship hangar "bugs", but is activating a jump drive really a glitch? If it were an exploit, why would the game even allow you to activate it once you were concord flagged in highsec?

This has already been tried (succesfully) when the BLOPS came into the game.
As this use was not forseen by the devs CCP has determined it to be an exploit.

In other words no ganking and jumping you WILL get banned (if caught).

That's a pricey experiment if it fails, or worse, gets you banned.

Besides, I can only fly a widow, which doesn't have that great of an alpha.

Yet grid-sculpting is allowed, despite being unforseen and fairly exploitative =?

Huh, I wasn't aware jumping was available in High Sec (although ill admit, ive only had the ability TO jump for about a week).

Cynos aren't, but you can jump out. Sit around jita long enough and you'll see JF's leaving that way.

Curious. Context indicates he was actually using a bug though (as you shouldn't be able to cloak away from concord). There doesn't seem be be a mechanic to keep you from jumping away, though.

You'll be banned for it no matter what. Wanna gank someone in high sec fine, but you have no options once you press F1 anymore other then allow concord to remove your ship from space. Anything else and your account will stop working for a while.

So just man up and invest in these things called Tornados. They are cheap and bring 12K of alpha to any gank party.

Don't ask about Italics, just tilt your head.

You are not able to jump under a GCC in highsec. Some other brilliant ideas people had but CCP patched in the past (patched as in, the game just won't let you):

* jumping through a wormhole
* using a covops bridge
* using an agile ship to bounce between planets for 15 minutes
* storing your ship in an Orca
* ejecting

Ah, thats what I was looking for. Didn't make sense (if it were an exploit) to remain unpatched.
