Probably someone hunting ships in lowsec and missed that he was back in highsec when he finally found something in a belt.

Not familar with the pilot or the system. If he's like me and lives in low sec and tends to shoot everything, I understand what happend. A number of times traveling I somehow ended up in high sec system usually a jump or 2 outside of low sec. You see a orca or something on gate and think what an idiot as I lock him. Luckily I've caught myself before firing. For the most part.

Do not assume anything above this line was typed by me. Nerf the Truth, it's inconvenient.

This ^^. Really, there should be a pop-warning when you jump from low-sec into high-sec.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

There should be a warning dialog on every hisec gate:

"DANGER! You are entering the starter area of EVE, where CONCORD shoots you if you shoot others. Plus it's full of bears and players who think they aren't bears, but they are, or then they are just bad. So are you really sure you want to jump through, it stinks on the other side"

NO / CANCEL / ABORT

You'd have to go to settings to enable the YES option. This would prevent many accidental jumps into hisec and improve the overall game experience thx.

Yea looks that way.

Know your surroundings, pure and simple. Funny though and as said already, Darwinism at work. Lol

Destination SkillQueue:- It's like assuming the Lions will ignore you in the Savannah, if you're small, fat and look helpless.

Well I guess ASBs don't provide much protection against CONCORD.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

The lesson: When you find a juicy target in lowsec, double-check you're actually IN lowsec before you engage.

I did this once with a pimped-out vengeance, shooing a mining vexor. If it had been a hulk I'd have stopped to think about it.

There should be a popup. Attention
