I have a test facility on a gas planet, making oxygen and the production seems to be going well. This evening, I decided to take the to-date production out. So, went to the planet in my hauler - not freighter, Iteron - and entered Planet Mode and ordered the CC to launch the stored production there. Countdown reached 0. Nothing appeared on my overview that was a can or any such item. Checked at the customs office in orbit around the planet, of course, not there because not launched from spaceport; right? So, where is the load of oxygen that was fired up from the planet? Or, actually, where is it supposed to be?? Thanks. Smile

1) Check your journal....tab there for planetary launches that will show the location of your can

2) Use the customs office....at any volume worth doing this will be MUCH more efficient

The whole 'launch from your command center' thing should be avoided. Even a modest colony will quickly overwealm the CC's storage. As Kunan says, build a Launchpad and use the customs office.

This has the added benefit of being able to import goods, as well as exporting them (Useful for factory planets).

The Launchpad itself has a large amount of storage space, so you can have your extractors and factories route to and from it without having to build a storage facility. That way you have more Powergrid/CPU to spend on more productive structures.

In the cat-and-mouse game that is low sec, there is no shame in learning to be a better mouse.

Thank you for the specific answer, Kunan. For both Kunan and Pinstar, I understand the use of the Launchpad is more cost-effective, but this was my very first ever foray into PI, so I didn't want to spend the money until I had at least a basic mastery of the UI for it. Thank you both once again.
