Hey guys

Studio weekend one done!

Sorry about the outages, we moved to a new studio this year and it's obvious to everyone that this transition has not been smooth. We're going to do everything we can this week to make sure next weekend is much more smooth.

Once that's said though, the rest of the tournament has easily been the best ever. I think the studio team and commentators have been working really well and the field is more even then it ever has been. The number of extremely good teams has been growing the past year or two and I honestly have no clue who is going to win this year.

Thanks for watching and let's hope the matches next weekend will be as good as the matches today.

I'm probably typing on a Tablet too, which means the auto-correct is silly and fixing typos is a pain. I ain't fixing them.

I believe CCP Bro found the fix for the stream issues as everyone saw at the end of the stream... I want to see a Commentator Dev Roam and have it streamed!

Edit: or possibly stream a sick Dev vs Commentator LoL match :D

was great to watch, one cannot always control the internet and streams and when it comes and goes.

content wise it has been very good, that last match was on the edge of the seat!

I can agree with this. It is really gotten a lot better with the 12-men teams and the overview on the e-war. The point system also seems to be working best and teams can fleet a broad variety of ships.

Nothing further needs to be said on the outages. Better hope it never happens again. Then we can quickly forget about it.

One thing, shows us your one, odd tooth next weekend! Honestly, I'd like to see you smile now and then, CCP Soundwave!!

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

May we please have the title of the songs you guys are playing between matches? I for one enjoy the music you guys are selecting. Who is in charge of the music?

I.e. when you go to a live from Jita 4-4, along with the location may we please have a song/author info.

Thank You.

The matches have been SO GOOD and the studio and commentary has been smooth. The technical issues are a huge problem, but I think we have that solved. Don't miss next weekend when we'll see the best matches of the best AT ever.

rote/PL match made up for the outages today.

Overall though, new layout takes some getting use to, but this year you guys definitely stepped it up. +1

For what it's worth, the overview system with ewar effects showing makes this tournament exponentially better just for that. So many of the setups use so much ewar, and the commentators hypothesizing about why a ship isn't able to damage another one just just not entertaining watching.

Really liked the new format.!! Big smile If i had to suggest one thing to improve it would be the sound balance on the commentator microphones. It sounded like one of the commenators was not speaking directly into the mic.

Other wise it was and A+ show streaming problems ignored as unimportant.
Thanks KandieKat

I am enjoying so much the ATX. Tnx CCP for your effort. New UI is so informative adds a whole another aspect to the tournament.

It has been a really great tournament so far, the fight PL vs Rote was just epic.

The commentators do not always seem quite up to date though. In one match yesterday the two guys were speculating for ages why one Vindicator had been dropping fast while the other was tanking quite fine after that. After half a minute of discussion they theorized that maybe the team's Oneiros had been jammed earlier. But it was OBVIOUS from second one that the Oneiros had been jammed. ECM icon on Oneiros + no RR icon on primaried ship = Oneiros is jammed. Why else would he not be repping anything?

This happened a lot during the tournament so far. Commentators doing a good job most of the time, but sometimes they appear a little clueless.
