1. Get rid of gates so we can fly around the universe and not fly from room to room.
space is vast but in EVE its just a room
Danger points should be whenever you need to visit something. such as stations or plex or anons or anywhere peopel gather

2. Give pvp a point and not for its own sake

3. if you remove local give us something to update d-scan and not have the need to spam it constantly

Thanks for the help

1) Improved Tranquility performance - it's incredibly frustrating waiting on modules to switch off to do ammo switches. Sometimes it takes a full second for the server to catch up simply so I can make a final click on an ammo type and have it load.

2) Faster jump cloning through advanced skills.

3) More nVidia mid-range cards for PLEX Cool

1. Hats.

2. As much as I feel WIS takes away from the game itself. Though if done correctly, WIS could really boost its atmosphere and depth of EVE.

3. UI updates and clean up how mechanics work. As an Indy player with my corp recently receiving a Rorqual, we really hate how the crunching feature works. Its very tedious and had to develop our own Excel calculator to use it without any issues.

CCP is finally trucking along towards this UI development a little bit more seriously and with momentum. I hope they don't get stuck for 3 years working on the Unified Inventory but also work on really making the UI shine. We spend our whole time staring at lots and lots of information, we need the UI to be more customizable and expandable of information.

Here's an example of what I think would be pretty neat of a UI update for Agent/Missions http://i.imgur.com/zlpGc.jpg

I know it is actually a huge change and not really polish, but...

1. Celestial bodies that move in orbit!
2. Warp transition time reduced, at least for low mass ships.
3. Less bouncy collisions.

I know number 1 is probably a pipe dream, but it would be sweet.

Actually preforming pre warp calculations to account for planetary orbits sounds exactly like something that belongs in a space sim.

Actually, if they just allowed us to fly through things (Like they currently do), then it wouldn't even be an issue.

And if there were realistic Orbits, the objects would not be moving to fast. For example, a planet in a system with a similar orbit and distance to it's star as Earth to the Sun would orbit in game in about real time.

The problem from what I understand is timing it so orbital bodies do not collide and try to occupy the same space. Plus the Grid system is not built for it. That is why it would be a major change. But damn would it be sexy. If relative positioning was used and algorithms were designed to put orbital bodies in position from their source along their orbit, it could be possible.

For Example:
Planets have Orbital Formula that places them relative to the sun.
Moons have Orbital Formula that places them relative to Planets.
Stations have Orbital Formulas that place them relative to Planet or Moon.

Not sure how to handle belts...but this is just off the top of my head anyway...I'm sure a solution could be found...

Still a lot of work on what I'm assuming is part of the foundation of Eve...so yeah...probably pipe dream...

Actually, I'm for 3 even with local...polishing up DScan would be sweet...not that it isn't functional now, just it could use some polish...not sure what...but would be nice.

OH! i've got another one. scale of ships, and real hit boxes on stations/titans. Let us fly up to and over the hull of a capital ship. It should be possible.

same thing with stations, bumping off invisible walls? It's 2012 guys, come on.

1. Remove caps
2a. Remove Jump Drives
2b. Have jump gates dump you in a random spot in system
3. Remove anything greater than T1 ships and mods <-- wait what!?!?!

1) Add actual WIS
2) Add tesellation - then allow us to target specific areas of a ship. ^_^
3) Make all ships modable like strategic cruisers(where their appearance changes) and customizable with paint and decals.

1. Tin foil hats
2. Battle capture so we can make epic videos
3. Some sort of PvP tutorial that would introduce nubs to PvP. How to fit ships, mechanics, etc.

oh! one more, remodel for the thyphoon, make it look MORE like fallout3 flying space oil barge.

But more so, throw away the old design, it doesn't hold up to the rest of the new minmatar art, you guys could do better, with more exposed parts/ more insides.

a better preview window for ships, turrets look great, why not ships?

a brand new remodel hanger view.

1. Battle recorder. Improvements to camera angles and stuff. Maybe an application that records everything on grid to our computer. User created content from this could help attract people to EVE Online, I know it attracted me.

2. Video Tutorials. EVE needs dedicated video tutorials on what to do and how to do things in EVE. These videos should be integrated into the EVE Online website. People learn better from visual stimulation than pretty much anything else.

3. More epic EVE music for situation changes/awareness. For one we simply need more EVE music. The second point is that during some missions the music will change to better suit the situation and that this needs to be extended to other areas of game play. Basically what I mean is that when you are doing pve there should be pve music playing.... when you are mining there should be mining music. When situations change (eg. some random ganking ship appears on grid in the belt you are mining) the music should at least start to transition to the new situation (eg. suspicion music starts playing).

Simply, different situation... different and fitting music, maybe even allow for customization.

4. Aura voice synthesizer. Come on, you know it would be awesome. Text to speech aura could be a nice little addition to EVE.

Oh god that would be amazing...

Option 3 should be realistic damage from collisions as well...Kamikaze Piloting could be a great new tactic...

  1. Active defense
  2. Modular super POS as actual player-built connected structure, not just a bunch of things floating around inside a shield. They could be upgraded all the way up to full-scale station, and actually destroyed.
  3. Make PI competitive with Tech (in null) and overhaul it to make it mildly fun (at least)

Tactical destroyers... I'll take a dozen Gallente, please.

1) Remove Local
2) Remove CQ and any evidence that it ever existed
3) Damage from ramming other ships. Smaller ship always takes more.

That's a start.
