Just showing some newer players some things & we'll be starting in a couple of weeks. I'd thought of doing it by myself... The thing about EVE is playing with yourself is all good & well in the beginning, but after a few months you become really desensitized & find you have to let other people play with you sometimes.

You are exactly right but there is a problem with trying to tell them that. When confronted with te facts of their own pathology sociopaths will reject the idea in whole an then project all of their assholery on the one confronting them. They are immine to their own bullshit, no matter the weight or severity of it.

I claimed no such thing. You could be a god-fairing turn-the-other-cheek christian taking a vow of poverty and never getting angry over anything in real life, but if you come into a game and proceed to do nothing more than try to make the game a terrible experience for everyone else, that is still antisocial behavior. It follows a pathology, just like it would in any other forum in real life. Granted one only doing it game does not make them a diagnosable sociopath in real life per se, but as far as the game goes you are. And you justify this behavior with the "its just a game so its not real." This is no different in logic than a thug killing someone walking down the street and saying "stupid mofo shouldnt huv left his crib." "If he didnt I wouldnt have had to kill him."

Both ideas serve only to avoid responsibility for one's own actions.

Sometimes they have drones out. Concord actually did the most damage on that one, but I don't mind losing a ship to someone that knows how to fit a tank.


If they have drones out that attack when ganked, it probably means they were on aggressive mode.

Wouldn't it be easier to just steal some loot from any nearby wreck, and get the drones to attack you first?

So because you cannot differentiate RL with a game, that is somehow our problem?
The only one here with an issue, is someone who can compare RL murder, with in-game activities and think that perfectly valid.

I presume when he says he will be ganking mission runners he means Industrials doing distribution missions. Less chance they will shoot back.
