Question regarding FW standings

My Question is as follows:

If I have for example a positive standing as a corp to the Minmatar Republic faction, but have a negative standing Tribal liberation front corp, would i still be able to join the Minmatar faction?

Anyone know?

I think as long as your Minmatar Republic standing is not negative you are ok.

Yes, its all based on the main faction standing.

Corp based standing will only effect mission running etc.
