Nowaday many good games have a skill that can pull a enemy to a close range position so that a warrior with a close range weapon can more easily attack him.

Then I think eve can add a module that have the same effects tooo.

For example, we can give the tractor beams a new effect that can pull not only containers but also ships toward my own ship, first, i lock a ship witch is sitting at 20 km away from me, then i active tractor beam, then the ship have to being pulled to the 5km away from my position.

what about this?

Warp scramblers, stasis webifiers, approach button.

That is all.

Or you could learn to fly and split fleet?

All these games you are referring to with enemies having 'gap closers' are based on the premise that some classes and some are ranged.

In eve, you can be anything you want. Even a unicorn.

This concept is stupid because it negates a measure of pilot skill and this module would simply replace stasis webifiers.

Honestly, the Trekkie within me was disappointed I could not lock onto enemy ships with my Tractor Beam. Blink

But yeah, should not be implemented.

Space. It seems to go on and on forever. But then you get to the end and a gorilla starts throwing barrels at you.

Also; it is called a Micro-Warp Drive.

By flying an Incursus, Enyo or Ishkur?

Honestly, I actually like this idea

Only if we can make salvagers deal damage to ships, while pulling salvage and minerals out of them in the meantime. Minmatar ships take double damage! Pirate

Don't you mean half? Since, y'know, they are more duct-tape than they are minerals...

We can't do that than the Noctis be way too freaking overpowered. A small fleet of Noctis ships would be able to take down any Minmatar Titan with ease. And a significantly larger one for any other race.

Though we need to buff mining barges again if we do this so they can do damage as well. After all gold is valuable and all those Ammar ships were Mr.T bling approved. So a small Orca boasted Hulk fleet should be able to "mine" an Avatar to death.

Welcome to Eve. Everyone here is an Evil Sick Sadistic Bastard who is out to get you. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either trying to scam you or use you.

Mining lasers doing a trickle of thermal damage is only normal and to be expected but I dont think it wpould add value to the game tbh... (l0lz for sure though...)
