Never seen these ones in hisec. But this table tells us that it's possible:

http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/DED_Complex_List

Is it really possible?

Assuming that table is current, then it clearly is possible, but I would say extremely unlikely, given the sheer number of systems in any pirate-faction's space.

I've never seen a DED 5/10 spawn in hisec, myeself (I actually thought they weren't supposed to), and they're not too common in low.

Star Wars: the Old Republic may not be EVE. But I'll take the sound of dual blaster-pistols over "NURVV CLAOKING NAOW!!!11oneone!!" any day of the week.

DED 5/10 complexes don't spawn naturally in highsec as scannable sigs, however if you get one as an escalation from a (faction) Den anomaly the resulting DED 5 will occasionally spawn in highsec. This is very unusual though its most often in lowsec.

The thing with wikipedias is that they are not always accurate.
Unless this is some kind of bug introduced recently( like A-type adaptives dropping in hisec a while back ) - no, you can't find DED5s in hisec.

My guess would be the odd escalation from an anomaly conveniently not going to low/null.

Deltolle if i remember correctly ... been there yesterday ... normal accessible via gate key and visible as beacon on overview

I'm a diplomat. Sometimes i throw 425mm wide briefcases at enemy. Such is EVE.

It's a static, COSMOS "Yan Jung Relic Site" NOT a scannable signature OP is asking about.

There is a scan. sig strength of an anomalies in that table... A bit confusing to me... :(

The table you linked contains 'signatures' not 'anomalies'.

Now you missed meWhat?

The table contains signatures AND their respective signature strengths.
There is nothing about anomalies here.

Ah, got it.
Well... i do believe that any dedspace complex IS an scanable anomaly :)

5/10's that result from escalations are NOT cosmic signatures or anomalies. 5/10's that spawn as cosmic signatures do not happen in hisec.

is it still possible to get an escalation to 5/10 from another site? I've heard they changed something about ded-complex game mechanics and it happens very rarely now.

upd.: i did Angel Yard but it escalates to Angel Mineral Acquisition Outpost. Sometimes. Estimated chance (based on my own experience) is about 4%.

they used to spawn in hisec anyway as i have done 2 angel red light districts in ani constellation of metropolis ( both 0.5 systems) , altho that was early 2010 and things have changed since then.

i haven't done exploration in nearly a year now and those are the only 2 i ever found and no they weren't escalations. but if i have then surely others have as well
