War-deccing Bot Corps

Wondered if anyone had any experience declaring war on the obvious macro corps, do they fight back? disband? run away? bring an army of farmers to fight back?

Tempted to smack down some on a regular basis :)

They run to NPC Corps.

Most of them drop to NPC corps, but I haven't done this since the new dec system is in place. We have also seen them just not log on.

HOWEVER.

If they don't notice the dec and you catch them ( which ofc is not hard at all ) they wont fight back. Some of them trigger a emergency logoff mid fight, hang around and when he logs back in, pod him :)

The new wardec system is about preventing corps from leaving alliances to avoid wardec. Individual pilots can still flee the wardec'd corp afaik.

Out of 20+ "bot" wardecs I only managed to get 4 exhumer kills against 3 different "pilots". One of them got killed and podded only to reship to another hulk and come back to the exact same spot later that day Roll

Most just drop off to NPC corp or don't login. This was back when wardecs were 2 mil a pop. With fees the way they are now, wardeccing these guys seems like a waste of isk.

This is true. I hate to sound like a corphopper, because I really am not, but the last corp I joined (who promised me active people and then had none, hence my reason for departure) was a member of an alliance engaged in a long list of wars, I was still able to leave.
