WH POS bashing questions.

An idea has recently been kicked around among the members in my corporation so I figured I would come here to get some pointers/advice.

We currently are trying to start organizing a group of ourselves to do POS bashing on our neighbors. The problem is, we lack a collective knowledge on the best way to go about this. We are a c4 with a c4 static, and our general prey would be very small corporations who have a POS that is in our neighboring hole at the time. It essentially would be a "hit squad" where we are specifically targeting corps of 5-15 people with no capital ships sitting around their POS. Our main purpose would be for the goodies inside, or to out right ransom them once they see we are attacking. The total people who would be taking place from our side would most likely be 7-10 actual players, and we would all be bringing along one alt for a specified role.

Now to the actual questions at hand. What is the best fleet composition to do this? We would have 14-20 characters in the hole

I was figuring we would need 2 orca alts for supply/refitting/haling the spoils of our victory, a HIC pilot to collapse the holes so we can control the exits, one scanner alt to locate any new holes coming up/scouting the back sides, two logi's, and the rest set up to do the actual bashing. Our main problem is we have not been able to figure out what type of ships to bring for the POS bash itself. We had been looking into a mixture of battleships and/or t3 battle cruisers, but our inexperience with this is cause for me coming and asking about it here.

Any help with our fleet composition is much appreciated.

Now, after the fleet comp comes the actual bashing. When we arrive on POS grid I assume we start to dismantle the defense/turret modules hooked in, but what order should we kill them in?

TLDR:

Question 1) What should our team's ship comp be assuming 14-20 toons and two of them definitely being Orca pilots, one being a scanner alt keeping track of holes, 1 being a forward scout on the backside hole coming in?

Question 2) In what order should we kill the defensive POS modules?

Thanks in advance for any help and advice.

WH pos bashing is meh. Without caps it is tedious.

If the POS is decently defended, and if they have gunners you will likely need more logi. Last WH pos bash I was on I think we had 4-5 guardians as the defenders had gunners. At the beginning with their ability to focus fire can give your logi some excitement.

For ships, buffer tanked BS works well. Amarr is nice due to no reloading (without caps you will be shooting awhile)

Support ships if there are any defenders.

Buffer tanked proteus can be nice to incap mods, and help with fleet support.

Do get things done in any decent time I'd say you want a good sized fleet (25+)

For mods, take out the scrams and nuts first. Then you don't have to worry about cap and can warp off at will.

Navy geddon is just about the best pos bash ship you'll find anywhere, bring at least 3 guardians for support.
That said, it's more or less a waste of time since you either just reinforce the pos and go home through the same wh, or RF it and stick around (stront timer is more than 24 hours you you'll need to find a different exit) in which case the best you can hope for is some tears in local while the residents self destruct everything in their POS and log off their valuable loot and ships.
The worse outcome is that they'll log on a superior force and just wipe you out.

The only POSs that are actually worth bashing in WHs are ones with a lot of faction POS mods that you can rep and unanchor later when the POS is dead.

If you're doing this primarily for the 'spoils' then... just don't bother. Run some anoms instead and make more isk. Isk that won't just sit and self destruct itself as you watch.

You're going to need a bunch of battleships, or better yet dreads. Tier 3 battlecruisers, bombers, etc just don't cut it. Also you need to keep control of the wormholes for the full duration - through the rf timer - otherwise it's pointless.
