Hi, I finally have a Myrmidon and have ran a couple Serpentis Phi-Outposts that I found. In the first area (after the first gate) you kill a bunch of pirate npcs and then loot a can hidden in an asteroid.

In this can is an item called "Stolen Passkey". The description says it is single-use only, but how can I tell if it's used? It is still in my cargo hold after finishing the complex.

One time I didn't even have this key in my cargo and it let me use the next gate and another time I had the key but it said I had to kill all the npc's anyway.

So what is this item used for?

At one time it was required to access the next room of the Complex and was consumed upon use. Now it's useless and just takes up space. Kinda like the remaining cast of Two and a Half Men.
