Hello everyone,

For a while now I've been working on a tool to ease the overhead our corp directors had when calculating various fleet op payouts. First I had a excel sheet, but that had grown a bit and was becoming slow, too slow for my comfort Smile

SO, I revived my dev spirit (which died slowly ever since I finished college), and came up with an application into which you can load a loot log exported by the EVE client, you can add pilots who participated in the op and set a payout share percentage for each (maybe some where a bit lazy or semi-afk alts P and you want them to get half a share?!). The app has a quick guide menu option where you will find more detailed info on features.

The result was this app. You have a self extracter archive there. It contains the main app and an updater. You can open the application via any of the 2 executables, but when running it via the updater, you will be notified if a new update is available.Cool

Updated link tp ZIP file.

Please note that if you do not have MS Office 2010 installed on your system you will need the MS Access 2010 DB Engine. Besides that the application also requires .NET Framework 4.0 to function.

This is the first time this app sees 'the light of the forums', and my first application ever to work with a database behind it, but I will gladly take both positive and constructive feedback into consideration. So don't hold back, if the ideas are good I'll try to implement them.

According to EVE traditions I'll happily accept any ISK donations Smile

LE: I have updated the download link to a zip file with the full app, but with a fix for the updater as the previous one had issues when applying some updates.

it uses loot logging exports, right? I thought the loot logs only exports the last x amount of loot logged, not the whole thing. How to do you manage any inconsistencies?

Thanks for the awesome program, so much easier than the spreadsheet I've been using Big smile

AFAIK, it updates the loot entry for that particular item with the new total.
Either way, it works fine Smile

EDIT: One suggestion, if possible, is allow people to scale/resize the window.
Can't quite use it on my laptop because of the resolution (the calculate/copy buttons are hidden well below the task bar), but otherwise, awesome program!

I'll work on it this weekend and make it resize-able, that shouldn't be a problem.

I'm not sure what Sable Blitzmann meant, but the EVE client exports the total amount of items looted and yes, the app uses those exported loot logs. Where inconsistencies might appear is when one person loots something (mines it for example) and then another person picks it up from a jet can. That amount will show up twice in the loot log. Once as an entry for the miner and 2nd entry for the pilot who picked it up from the hauling.
BUT after you load a loot log you can delete any of the log entries by selecting them and hitting 'Delete' on your keyboard.
It's all in the quick guide available in the application's menus.

If anybody downloaded the self extracting archive I had posted initially, please redownload the .7z file I have updated yesterday as the previous one had a broken updater. This one should work just fine.

I have just propped an update for those already using the app. Run the updater (the updated one in the 7z/ZIP file not the self extracter I had initially posted as it was broken, apologies for any inconvenience) and you will be asked if you wish to update :)

The app is now resize-able, and I removed a left over tab in the options window.

is there?:
- an indicator for faction/officer items
- a "sell as it is" or "recycle it" suggestion (sometimes the minerals are worth more than the module)
- ignore pilot

that's all atm ;)

Nope, but I think I might add it in the future if more people want it. Main reason I didn't thought of putting in something like that is because we're a WH op, and this helps our directors alot when doing payouts on sleeper loot/salvage that's been stacked for days, and it saves the investition we would make on GSC's for each pilot/fleet op.

Currently it calculates the value based on the price you have selected. Max Buy or Min Sell. But again, if that is what the users want I might add that functionality.

After you load a loot log you can delete log entries. You just select the lines you don't want and hit 'Del' :)
