Can I just say its an insane video, I love every bit of it, ignore the haters, theres always going to be some.

What I find here is many people bash on the video, yet have no videos of their own to prove their point. Fine his video isn't perfect, but nobody's is! Its one of the best ones out there, editing is amazing, and I would love to fly with the guy if I get the chance to.

Content; you in a ridiculously expensive ship sitting still cyclying through targets. Sounds easy enough? Well, when you're running out of Cap Boosters you have an alt drop you off a fresh stack! Granted, not all fights had this but a few did. Especially in the Coldblood video, but that's for another discussion.

When you post a video you must expect praise and critism. Please post a video of you PvPing in a realistic fit without an alt to drop Cap Boosters to you. I guarantee if I was given 6b to create the ultimate Vindicator I could also make a PvP video of my talents and be praised as a pro PvPer. Especially if I had an alt dropping off cap boosters when I started to run out of them.

As I said, your video editing skills are top-notch, but the content got dull extremely quickly.

Nice post. It's an impressive insight into how little you know about PvP.

A hauler alt with boosters is nothing like a falcon alt. I don't even see how you can possibly draw a link between them. A falcon jams things, a hauler alt allows you to fight longer.

When you're flying in a gang generally fights are over in a short amount of time because of the amount of damage on the field. So the amount of boosters you can fit in your cargohold is usually plenty. When you are flying solo though, a good fight against a gang will often last many minutes, and often the only reason you end up dieing is because you ran out of boosters. This is a pretty unfair thing to happen, as it's nothing to do with skill on your part, and it's unavoidable. But hey, EVE isn't meant to be fair.

But what God's is doing is using his initiative to find a way around that problem. He is flying a seriously expensive and seriously powerful ship, that has the ability to last for a long, long time on the battlefield. In his case, running out of cap boosters is probably THE biggest weakness in the ship. So good on him for finding a way to fix that, I say.

Btw, expensive ships are no substitute for skill. I have seen tons of people fly vindicators and machariels and such, and lose them in hilarious and terrible ways.

If you were given a 6bil Vindicator, I doubt you could come even close to achieving the same sorts of results God's does. Nobody can succeed at solo pvp without a strong level of skill, achieved through trial and error and the school of hard knocks.

Perhaps if you had any significant solo / solo with support alt experience you would understand. To say he only won because he had an expensive fit is laughable.

Considering your Bhaalghorn loss, I doubt being handed a pimp vindicator would do you much good. Also, it's a bit different if you are GIVEN the ship rather than earning it.

Finally, you asked for God's to show what he can do in a 'realistic' fit. If you checked his older video's you would see exactly this.

Why don't you make a video of your 10+ gangs with realistic fittings and no falcons (or those 2 scorps). I'm sure it would be very intense.

I think a lot of the criticism (at least the parts I agree with) in this thread aren't really about pilot skill, but rather video making. Gods is certainly a very good pilot, and yes indeed his previous videos show that he is great with cheaper ships too.

It's more that clips of him steam-rolling gangs without having to do anything particularly special (except scout out and set up well) to win that makes for a boring watch. He's even able to make dumb mistakes, as we all do and we should all forgive, but it just shows how 1-sided the fight really is. I'm sure it's plenty fun to do, and yes it does take a level of skill, but really there's nothing that stood out to me in this video as memorable or exciting. This is simply from a video entertainment perspective.

For anyone else this is a landmark amazing video, but we (perhaps unjustly) tend to hold Gods to entirely different standards given his previous videos.

That and he seems to be kind of a c*ck when it comes to receiving criticism gracefully Smile

Fo those this may concern;

Some of you may have noticed how I seem to take constructive criticism at times in a bad light and react with full force using my ultimate forum trolling skills. This might seem cocky in nature to some, this reaction really comes from a much deeper place than just my video.

For over the last year or so the " MY EVE " section of the eve online forums has been overrun by impostors and wookies running a muck. Its these said wookies who seem to have made a name for themselves and feel it is their said duty to watch as many eve videos as possible with the only intent to criticise all new, old , fat and thin video makers they possibly can but with one exception. If you are a friend of a wookie i.e a Klingon, you are thus void of all critisim but this is a debate for another time.

So the problem then are theses pesky creatures (wookies)that seem to congregate in the same or simular corporations. These wookies would have you believe that flying expensive ships and fits is low risk pvp, while themseleves flying cheap tempest hulls with 15mill setups is laying it all on the line due to them simply hitting structure while also stating publicly that they just don't have the balls to step into their Macherial. Now this does take a HUGE amount of skill to do and should not be practiced at home at all unless properly trained in the art of professional potty training. I for one will never reach this level of flying in this game I have come to love, but i can hold my head up high and be proud that i am a B-Level pvper and I am truly happy with that!

Back to the matter at hand, if you hadn't of guessed it by now this video was made as entertainment only. It was a collection of fraps over a period of 18 months (of hardly playing)and nothing really stood out to me but as i hadn't made a video in a long time and thought i should throw something together. This might come to a shock to some of you but I hardly ever play eve anymore. While the desire to make videos is still with me, the time it actually takes to go out there and find something different and more than just a new ship know ones seen before is slowly becoming out of reach for me.

If I had the isk to fight like a dog backed into a corner I would try to do something special but as I don't and flying t2 just doesn't do much for me anymore, tho i do still do it, you are unlikely ever going to be impressed by a Gods Coldblood's movie!

Hate me or love me I don't care but I make videos for fun and I watch them for fun and nothing more!

While this is rapidly degrading into calling names, you very obviously mean my corp and me with this description, and I have the, maybe childish, desire to provide some context for "whom it may concern".

Posts of mine that you alluded to are Machariel, In Cold Blood Critique and Fearless Critique. Nowhere in there I claimed that expensive ship pvp was per se risk free, and I did add that I, too, tend to minimize risk when flying expensive ships. Yes, I have flown both Vindicator and Machariel in pvp. No, neither has yielded footage that I deem interesting to watch.

But that is superficial. Your "deeper reaction" is, apparently, based on me leaving extensive feedback in video threads. Ever heard of Immanuel Kant and his Categorical Imperative? This is pretty big words for an internet discussion, but what it boils down to is "do to others as you want done to you". I like to be entertained by (eve) videos, I like to entertain with (eve) videos, I want to make the best videos I can, and I want others to be as entertained by them as possible. If I did not succeed in entertaining, I want to know why, and how I can do better. Communicating this is called constructive criticism, and I give out said criticism freely in the hope to both receive some back and that people I give it to will entertain me (even) better next time.

Now, in your specific case, I had already mentioned the only readily changeable and also integral drawback that reduces my enjoyment in your videos (your attitude) last time you published one, so I had planned to not write anything this time around. When you got hit with vehement and largely unhelpful and even unjustified critique though, I tried to filter out the constructive parts. If you want to go ballistic over this and stay with "If you don't want to kiss my feet, kiss my arse", be my guest.

Firstly, I hope before making this statement you had an extensive look throughout my entire killboard and not just the first page. Alhough not a clear indicator, Battleclinic points are rewarded for Soloing and/or taking out bigger ships in smaller ships and I have enough to warrant posting a PvP opinion. You cannot make your statement based on simply looking at the first page. Secondly, I tried to check your killboard to check on your credentials but couldn't find anything. Posting on alt? Brave. Considering my Bhaalgorn loss; You cannot comment as you do not know the situation at all. The loss was a result of communication errors with my Corp mates. The comment is silly and irrevelant. Furthermore, what has a pimped out Vindicator got to do with the loss? Moreover, as you pointed out this particular loss, are you somehow suggesting that all of my other losses could have been prevented by a pimp Vindicator? Maybe your right...

As I said in my original post, I am critising this video. I'm not going to go trawl through endless hours of footage just so I can say he fights in 'realistic' fits. In this video he didn't, hence the comment. I have no problems with 'uber Vindicator' fights, I would just like to see realistic fights mixed in so I don't get bored of the same s***.

So from this post can I deduct that you think sitting still in an Uber Vindicator geting fed Cap boosters is skillful? How can you possible draw a link between that? If he enters a fight and his Cap Boosters run out he should have left the engagement earlier. Do you think having a great passive Drake tank soaking up 3, 4, 5 Cruisers' damage and killing them all would be great skills and fun to watch? Of course not. This is the same principal. Regarding my link to the Falcon alt, I was merely suggesting they are both pathetic.

I'm not aloud to quote anymore, but you said, "So good on him for finding a way to fix that, I say." regarding running out of cap boosters during a fight. I put this to you: I have a problem with too many ships shooting at me. If I had 40 alts all with falcons jamming everything on the field, is that a good fix that you would approve to justify my uber skills if I created a video? Silly boy.

Finally, I gaurantee I would be able to make enough footage for a 5 minute video displaying my 'uber' skills. I even have an alt ready to drop Cap Boosters off for when no one can break my stupid tank and I can mop up the enemy ships.

so... emllik, i could not help to notice that pretty much all your kills is frigs when you were in rvb or from blobing people with your gatecamps. you did have some mails from 08 when you were in 0.0 though. are you sure you are the right guy to talk about skills? please link atleast 3 fights were you've fighted someone outnumberd in a so called ''realistic'' ship and won, or infact show me a mail were you killed something bigger in a small ship... sorry bro but to me you just look like another forum f.a.g that thinks he is awesome for no reason
