Cap log off

Hi this happens a few time and it's so frustrating so I'm coming here to throw the stone :

CCP do you think logging of a cap in ano when hostiles comes work as intend ?

The fact is : 5 characters log, they BM anomaly and put a scout on their entrance. Then they warp cap on the ano (3 dread and 2 carriers). They enjoy farming Billions without any sort of risk.
Because when they hear the Bing of an incoming fleet they all log off. Even if we come on them an try to scramble their ships after a minute they disappear.

Nice... A RR BS fleet is far more easier to catch than 5 CAPSHIP working without any support..

You obviously have not been in wormholes since... well quite a while actually.

Cap ships in sleeper sites attempting to logoffski mid site will have aggression, simply warp or scan the anom, and go kill them. If they are in a c5-c6 and they do this they are likely to die due to the sleepers before very long without your intervention anyway. If however they hear you coming and extract from the site and log off mid warp to their towers then they will still have aggression but you won't be able to reach them anyway.

Thus I fail to see why you are crying, you either fail at setting cap traps or you are butthurt that people are smarter than you and are able to run sites properly (i.e without being ganked).

Attach a smartbomb to the scout, this should solve a few issues.

not true, NPCs don't count as aggression.
unless youre one of the stupid groups that NOS their own carrier to keep cap up on rapiers or use smartbombs to kill frigs...

still, catching caps in site isnt that hard if you happen to come across them.

Also I'm pretty sure either the dreads would be in seige and/or carriers would be in triage.

I don't think they're going to warp away before it's too late.

Get more cloaks. They'll have a matter of seconds to react and log off before you can target them and get aggression.

Do it right and you can get them to e-warp away from the sleepers into a safe spot, where you've got 15 minutes to scan and kill them.

It happens Wednesday night (French TZ) and yes even in triage they disappear after one minute. Note they do not warp away : they disappear because of the log of.

They warp at 300 Km of the site and sleeper's spawn, then they kill them easily. They only kill the BS's pop.

Maybe a smart-bomb on the scout will do the Job : flagging them with aggression timer. :/

Guillotine Theory like using a cloaky smartbombing proteus to apply the aggression timer to their targets.

Due to the range of medium smartbombs you may only be able to aggress one or two targets but its better than nothing.

Anyone know if an ecm burst agro triaged/siege caps?
If so, its easier than smart bombs and has more range.

Could work against you if your trying to tackle (with more than one ship) as well as trying to get agression at the same time.

confirm this works, turn off your siege/triage and turn on your repper then logoff. your ships will disappear

need to give sleeper aggression imo

Do you think the 10s flight time on bombs (such as a lockbreaker bomb, or even an ordinary damage-dealing bomb of any flavor) is enough warning for them to logoffski their capitals? This might be a better solution than smartbombs given that SB bombs have a greater blast radius.

It's a good option, I reckon a bomb would catch most people most of the time.

They log off as soon as they see something, maybe the bomber will do the job but between your declok and the bomb effect they may log off.. Smart bomb will catch only one maybe two but as said before better than no one..

Another idea might be a force recon rigged for quick locks coming out of cloak. Most of them get 50-70 km range (at least I know the Pilgrim, Falcon, and Arazu do) so your aggressor can start the timer and still get out of the line of fire if need be. The arazu would be the obvious preference.

Thats no good if they are doing constant sweeps for new sigs - fortunatly most people get lazy and don't watch for sigs quite as frequently as they should.
