My Stupid thing was back in the days with NFC (Northern freedom coalition) an alliance Lasted all of 5 minutes, IRON and D2 previously G alliance. They were fighting over 3jn in decklien, NFC ala me and others were trying to hold the system.

For some strange reason i thought training Achoring Lvl 5 was a step in the right direction of pvp uberness back then, and because of that landed up until this day that was the right to anchor warp bubbles. The trouble is despite FC's saying it very clearly i could never keep my chat channel out of local.

Anyway with local full of enemy pilots (Inlcucind Bob - i recall crystal was leading the bob offensive) i preceeded to give a report of the exact location of all the bubbles in the system to eveyone in local instead of fleet chat. Needlees to say i was riddiculed relentleesly in local and given a damm good dressing down on TS in a manner that was fully deserved The FC took what seemed to me to be ages to decide whether i should be podded or not.

I wasn't podded, by the FC. although i lost a lot at that time...

Got a friend to try EVE, and got him to join me in a belt in his noob ship. For ***** n' giggles i targeted him and he back, fired a volley on him, he didnt die and he fired back... Next time i made sure we where in fleet...

I fitted a destroyer with 8 smart bombs with a cloaking device and pretended i was jaws to my corp/fleet friends Lol

By the way Manique how in the world did you get that sterling shirt theres none on market well the new ones.

Am I missing highslots or is this before my time?
Someone has to explain how 8 sb's AND a cloak fit on a destroyer.

Telephoning two ingame friends to tell them of my first ever kill.

I was in my newly aquired "invincible" brutix. Red flashy "megathron" warps into my belt. I begin to shoot and release drones. Battle lasts for a few minutes, he pops as I enter hull.

I'm thrilled and shaking. can hardly dial the numbers. 1st friend thinks I'm awesome for killing a bs in my 3 week old char.

2nd friend points out that the megathron was actually a rifter.. they both had the dual hull thing at the front Oops

Probably the ballsiest/stupid thing was a suicide run to a station for my Drake into the Great Wildlands (back when i couldn't afford losing it), which was overrun by Unthinkables. I was able to get into the station, but on my way back i was followed by a Sabre and a Cane for about 6-7 jumps.
Right before entering low-sec, the Sabre bubbled me...

I was saved by fitting warp cores, but I shot back at the Sabre first, so i couldn't jump into low-sec right away.
It was nerve wrecking to wait for that timer to run out.

Solo pvp'd in an orca, no kills or deaths but alot of people thinking i was cyno fit

Hosted eve's 1st and only game of 3d ship snooker using 100mn fleet stabbers as the cues.

Warped on top of miners in an orca to drop 80 shuttles on them with the intentions of making them crash if they have **** pc's, worked a few times then i got told off by ccp :P



I've done tonnes more but i have a raging headache atm so remembering hurts >_<

I set up a POS in a hostile WH....while being under attack. I took down that same POS, while STILL under attack. The best part? I never lost a ship.

Reducing your holes to a quivering mess since 2009.

One night just before bed I forgot I was piloting an Erebus and warped it to the station in Kamela to dock up.
Surprised the hell out of a couple of Amarr Faction warfare omens that were camping a lone mini in the station there.

(one of the) Stupidest (there have been many)

Pootling around Placid lowsec after blowing the dust off an old Vaga, jumped into Ostingele, saw a Rupture on the gate, didn't appear to have any mates around, so duly overloaded everything into it, hoping that he would pop before the gate guns popped me.

Whilst i dithered about deciding whether to gtfo or scoop the loot first (it was about 15k away still) the gate guns continued to munch away....i overshot the can (mwd still overloaded doh), decided to gtfo after all, took an age to align (mwd still cycled) and got popped before i got into warp (lol noob) http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=10771091

There's probably a lesson in there somewhere...

This summer I made multiple exploration forays into lowsec and w-space in a PvE/Scanner Legion, connecting to EVE and the internet through a wi-fi hotspot running on my phone. Cool

When I was younger, I went mining into lowsec in an Osprey. Wow! Big rocks! Nice ... and no one around too.
Eh what is that ship that just warped in? Oh it's just a cruiser (don't remember which) in the belt. I went blissfully back to concentrating on the rocks.
Amazingly, nothing happened (he probably thought I was bait) ... so I thought, hmm ... lowsec isn't so bad at all, I might get used to this.

End of story, I got back safely to station.
