Zulu's statement can mean two things.

1) They are going to change the very old nebulas that we see as space to give us more eye candy, just like they did with planets in Dominion (I believe that was the expansion).

2) They are going to implement windows in CQ to let 95% of EVE's playerbase be able to say "SEE YOU ON THE BATTLEFIELD" without lying.

umm no. it's what the couple of 13 year old girls want; not the majority-20-30s males. That's why it failed. btw first time post ever on any eve forums in the 3 years i've been playing this game. if there was an infinite amount of resources ccp had i'd say ok, but
they don't. in fact, with their other projects i'd say eve gets hardly any. I didn't unsub any of my accounts yet, but i hate wis. at first it sounded alright, but now i cringe at the thought of it. if this is just a troll you did an awesome job, seriously though go play the sims. it's ten times better than anything ccp will do with barbies. I could care less about strippers too. get a girl or something.

the way i see it, the CSM (or bunch of nullsec overlords as they should be referred to as) don't like WiS for one reason... they don't get that many stations to walk in...

they feel all left out, so they are throwing their toys out of the pram and ruining Ambulation for everyone else.

CCP have planned WiS for longer than the current CSM have been in power, and will continue to implement it long after they have been kicked out on their respective buttocks and had a new, and hopefully FAR better and more representative CSM voted into place.

one that does not condone, or organise, breaches in the EULA... such as the jita riots, or the mitanni's little mail to the goons, basically saying 'don't report Goon botters'....

for all those who are complaining that WiS has finally arrived.... if it bothers you that much that the largest immersion breaking flaw with EvE has taken it's first steps to being fixed... you know where the door is. stop threatening to unsub, do so, and leave those of us who actually like the game, and perhaps think that CCP are doing a good job considering the size of the company, to play the game we love.

You know... Second Life lets you do basically anything you want with your avatars. You can dress them up in giant phalli, sailor moon, or gay pirate outfits. Anything a 50 year old German's or any age Japanese's perversions can conjure. So... you know... all you folks wanting to play barbies... Oh, and did I mention, it's free? What players, I've been here for 6 years.

At one time I looked forward to WiS, but honestly its had about as bad a rollout as the NGE.....

Personally I feel the game needs more new ships etc, combat is stale because devs have not provided new ships and mods for almost 2 years. (Noctis does not count though it is a good ship). I don't mean tweaks or balances to existing ones but new ones, tweaks just unbalance other unforeseen areas, its best to leave well enough alone and just make new ships and mods to counter the previous glaring problems.

Hmz not sure about last sentence, about 99% of the players play EVE to fly in space not walk in station.

Personally I do think WiS will add some nice gameplay to the already great EVE Online. But the focus should always be on the space flying part as that's what EVE is. For walking toons, pick one of the dozen other MMO's to play.

Ergo, it's not waht the players want, as most of them are complaining about the majority of the Dev-time going to WiS.

I was also not arrogant enough to claim that I was talking about the majority of players.....


Bottom line is that WIS should really come after more content and bug fixes. Fixes to FW, fixes to POS etc etc. When there is a clean sheet, then (and only then) do I think it would be a good idea for CCP to concentrate on Hello Kitty in space.
