I highly recommend the ratting/exploration side of null sec. You can make a lot of isk and fund your PvP with a few good days of grinding out complexes and archaeological sites to salvage/analyze. It does require patience to scan them down but once your good at it you can make good money. Find an area somewhere off the major route in and out of null and set yourself up.

Don't let anyone tell you what you can and cant do with your game.
