i think the miners haven't all fully realized that scordite is suddenly worth mining again. for months i skipped scordite as veldspar plagio pyrox kernite were worth much more isk/m3. but this has changed and i suppose many hisec miners just haven't done their spreadsheets recently. currently veldspar and scordite are roughly the same isk/m3 with scordite slowly but surely gaining a lead. they will take notice eventually i'd think. i do wonder if there is a manufacturing factor to this, i am only thinking from a "mining to sell minerals" perspective.

veldspar is not currently "roughly" the same isk/m3 as scord at all. infact, scord is closer to bristot isk/m3 than veld isk/m3.

i'll wager it has a lot to do with zyd prices too (in reference to scord being closer to bistot than veld).
