Short and Sweet,

With the release of INFERNO, The game has turned into more of a second job than fun …

At this time we feel there is no place for our institution within the game anymore so ...

As of this post ... The 0rphanage [AD0PT] is closing its doors and will no longer be taking any contracts.

We knew it was only a matter of time that CCP would attack our gaming style head-on: The Empire PVPer
BUT the attack also had collateral damage too: The Casual Gamer

The 0rphanage [AD0PT] will be 'mothballed' ... Some of us have left the game all together .... Some of us will continue on in other endevours within the corporation: Interstellar Brotherhood of Gravediggers [MBALM] …so … NO you can’t have our stuff …

We’d like to thank the eve community for putting up with our asshattery over the last 2 years.

We’d also like to thank members past and present for making the institution a place for friends to gather, have fun and grab a bunch of laughs.

I just ... but I thought there was something special between us. When morons could not undock in Jita without being blown up by flashy reds...

Dispite what goons have to say.

Adopt is 14th overall

Privateers is 2nd overall

While i spent time in these 2 alliances a few things came to mind.
It was a great lag free enviorment and alot of fun you could login and grab a few kills and laughs then back to rl.

Stat padding our killboards with capitals killing pos modules wasnt our idea of fun right goonies?
while test alliance was teaching its members to create lag I was getting 300-800 kills a month while the missle were still in flight.
In the final analasys test and goons lost trillions of isk to us way to go nulsuckers you are so great!!!!! (at losing ships)

As predicted, Inferno did more bad than good for Empire pvp.

Think a lot of that is the fact that the new crimewatch didn't release with Inferno tbh.
Which was the orginal intention. Hisec PvP should still benefit a lot once it does get released and stuff like *risk free* neutral reps go away.

Any ways the orphans were a bit of an institute in EVE by now, shame.

@Godsquad dude; apples vs. pears comparison. For you PvP is obviously about k/d ratios and value.
Goons are fighting over terretority you can win a Sov war with 1% isk efficiency an a 1:1000 against k/d ratio.
For others (like me) PvP is about just fights win or loose, and to me ratios and numbers don't really matter either. vOv

Highsec PVP won't benefit from anything if theres not anyone doing it by the time crimewatch comes out. Inferno turned an already niche gameplay style into an even deeper niche gameplay style.
