I don't like T3 boosted gangs being dropped on me when I'm solo, so I'm sadly going to have decline subscribing to your newsletter.

Whats this whole deal about hi-sec vs null-sec? Its the game mechanics that are broken, why the personal hate?!

I miss these forums when we discussed game development and not wage an ego war behind a computer screen.

I was there too, but never felt the need to jam my play style in someones face. Sorry but miners and mission runners don't bother me one bit.

It doesn't astonish me when you share your feelings with the one(s) you just had sex with - it just surprises me when you feel the urge to talk about it with people not involved (e.g. your friends when having sex, at least the friends who haven't been there Roll - or forum readers who haven't been there when you had your overwhelming big fleet experience).

I took part in a battle that involved 1600 players, over 100 billion isk destroyed from both sides.
Capital ships, supercarriers and titans were fielded.
Outnumbered 1000 to 600 and coming out on top, destroying ship after ship.

How was your day running missions and mining? :)

Good of you to be able to press button on command.

If you can **** and whipe your ass on your own come back an be smugg bout it.People might remember your alliance in the next years of eve but no one will remember you drake number 551511 , so don't pretend to be more relevant then the idiot running missions.

Because null vs. wh space didn't work out (see: -A-). Seriously though, Nerfing high sec won't get the bears to leave high sec. Make low and null more enticing will get more people to come out and play in the less safe part of eve.

No trolling please

LOL! Who cares!

Seriously, why do you care about this? But to indulge your nosy arse...

Glad you had fun and all.. so did I, running missions and mining. I destroyed countless slowly spinning asteroids, fended off a couple pirates and then had great fun turning the boat on a would be can flipper and lol'ed as cocncord taught him a lesson. Then I went and sold my ore and upgraded my ship to better increase my yield and fun. I had a BLAST! I plan on doing this more!

Your story is missing key points...

You took part in a battle where you warped in with a 600 man fleet, 5 minutes after you hit the warp button. You then engaged a 1000 man fleet where your FC called out targets by their first name and you pressed f1. You saw your lasers fire 10 minutes later. This went on for many moons until finally an FC called a retreat which they got to watch happen 15 minutes after they warped.

Yup sounds fun.

I learned in the 1970's [in D&D] that the only person actually getting rich was the merchant we dumped our loot on, who sold us our upgrades. This was reinforced in Ultima Online- crafters got to own the nice towers and castles, not the pvpers. The we discovered crafting alts could pay for faction warfare, or pvp, or thieving alts, and VOILA!!!

I spent the day teaching my son enough trig to pass a math placement exam, so he could take calculus. He passed, and I'm a thrilled Mom.

I've played EvE off and on for several years, and have done most things available. I'm glad you had a nice time in your fleet battle. Needing to bash others, however, to make yourself feel better..... be grateful you didn't post with your main.

The most adrenaline I had was running low sec courier missions as a clueless newbie, screaming into teamspeak (omgomgomgomgomgomgomg) just before going pop to a pirate with 1400mm's. Before warp to zero, and I had no bookmarks for any gates or stations. Then I went right back and did it again:)

I've done fleet fights, and like the other posters, not much adrenaline involved, just eye bleeding POS wars. Heart rate jumped doing roams in brand spanking new command ships, but not in big fleet fights, even when they weren't lagtastic.

The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that English is about as pure as a cribhouse [lady of commercial virtue]. We don't just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary.- James Nicoll

I had a bowel movement today. Trust me, OP, that's just as important as your "news".

Now that I think about it...probably more important.

I didn't get to run any missions today. I participated in a meth lab raid, helped arrest several individuals, which in turn cleared a particular neighborhood of a dangerous situation.

But keep telling yourself how much a stud you are because you pvp'ed...

^ Well I freed a damsel in distress, and kept an outpost from being infiltrated. So we both had a good day of running missions.

Sounds thrilling, come back when you have taken part in small gang pvp that doesn't just depend on luck to not get killed.

I was there too, and would literally curb stomp you in small gang PVP (And am perfectly willing to back up my claim anytime you want).

Just because you participate in fleet battles doesn't mean you can't do small gang PVP, the assumption that you can't is usually propagated by washed up has beens who COULDN'T figure out fleet PVP, or how to excel at it, but please, feel free to chest beat from the safety of some stations dock radius.

Well I suppose the Alliance tournament will show how good the blobbers are at small gang.

Calls out large coalition pvpers saying they are bad and would lose to him, gets called out and challenged, backs down and says hurf blurf at X

That would be a strange thing for me to say as I am not primarily a PvPer. what I actually said was that blob pvp involves luck and the FC to stay alive and has very little to do with the skill of the individual unlike small gang. And the Alliance tournament is a good example of blobbers vs small gang.

its actually over 1000 kills but I wouldn't expect a sub human like you to be able to read
