Both the client automatic updater and the repair tool fail to complete their tasks, and end in errors. The client worked fine up until today's patch. I've tried restarting. Any ideas?

So i completely un installed everything and then tried to download/install from scratch. Then the installer gave me an error. So then I tried the manual download, where I download the three separate parts. Turns out one of the zip files I downloaded is corrupted, and that was giving me an error. So I tried to download the zip file again, and still no dice.

I tried using the repair tool again, even though the new install did not yet fix the issue.

Any ideas?

the same problem here I cannot dowload manually EVE. Problem with socket close still exist. Petittion already sent

The repair tool ended up working on like the 5th try.
