can someone please tell me about these four mysterious and ancient races; the takmahl, yan jung, talocans and sleepers. Eve wiki has almost nothing and i cant find anything anywhere else.

Blod-red skies, strange beings, and the number 514, often written in blood.

Sleepers and Talocans are found mainly in wormhole space, though some bits and bobs exist in known space. Takmahl were an offshoot of the Amarr exiled into space. Little is known about Yan Jung except that they were really good with shields. More info can be found in Evelopedia.

yes, i found some on the takmahl, it seems to me that they were the precursors to the blood raiders, since they were exiled for being sani sabik. I wouldnt consider that "advanced" like the other 3, since all they do is worship bodily fluids and put turret hardpoints on a bhaalgorn...

Each of the four "ancient races" excelled in a specific field of study.. The Takhmal drove cybernetics and biotechnology in the Empire to unmatched prominence and likely influenced Nation's efforts in these fields, as well..

They reflected a Jewish culture and show many Cabalistic overtones that likely influenced many "groups" out there who sprang from the Amarr.. EoM comes to mind, as well...

I still believe they are somehow related to the Jove, too.. But, then I am a Jovian Conspiracy Theorist.. Pirate

It's no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then, and it's a poor sort of memory that only works backward.
