Dunno where to post, or if i'm allowed to ask this, but how do you setup mutiple clients on the same pc?
Tried using the search function, but can't find anything.
Can't find anything online either.

1. Open eve launcher
2. Click Play
3. Alt tab
4. Click play
5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 as many times you want clients open

Ingame settings are then tied to specific accounts when you log in.

yeah you just execute multiple times the same program and 1 login for each diffrent account.

also if you got multiple monitors you can open then in windowed mode and you can watch multiple screens simultaneously.

Cool, thanks for the info.
Just figured out that I can't sign in with a trial account at the same time as a subscription account. Been doing that just to see if I had done it properly before....

Well technically you can, but you need virtualization software like VMWare or Virtual Box to do that. But the graphics support on those programs isn't too good (at least on the free versions), so I don't really recommend it. Also, run in windowed mode and get several monitors if you are serious. Also also, don't PvP with multiple accounts because you'll just lose more ships. PvP happens so fast it takes a lot of practice to multi-box it.

I installed the main client, then copied it's contents 2 times. Now I have 3 clients.

Pros: Clients remember on which monitor I want them to run.

Cons: I have to patch 3 times when there's an update.

I too have 3 accounts installed on 3 seperate drives. I cannot get 2 of them to remember to load on the second monitor in windowed mode. Does 1 have to be in full screen?

Go to: Settings -> Display & Graphics -> Display

On the Window or Fullscreen dropdown, choose "Fixed Window"

On the Display Adapter dropdown, choose "Your Card"-"Your Monitor #".
- Example: "AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series 1" - This will start client on monitor #1
- Example: "AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series 2" - This will start client on monitor #2
- Example: "AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series 3" - This will start client on monitor #3

I agree, but I would still advise starting off by PvPing with scouts active. Helps you get used to playing in windowed mode, swapping quickly between clients/screens etc.

Also helps you not die to that 40 man gang the other side of the gate Big smile

Unless it's my alt in a drake.

It is totally legit when you see me AFKing 50km off a low sec gate.
