As the Subject.... any https:// request return me an error:

Error Loading Requested URL

[no label: UI/Browser/LoadErrorCertificateError]

Error Code: -202

(x)ubuntu 12.04 64bit
wine 1.5.6

any clue please?

Yes.

It's a wine problem, it doesn't implement certain function available on windows and IGB relies on that function. More details here: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27168

It seems that a "test" patch has been sent @ 2nd of June.

That's not "test" patch, it's a patch that adds a test to wine that shows that this feature is not implemented, nothing more than that. If you want working https in IGB you can download wine source and apply a patch found in the same bug discussion that should fix https. That's the patch that is not accepted since it is even better than what windows have.

The actual patch is somewhat tricky to apply, as there have been some recent changes made to the affected source files, so you would need to get your hands dirty. That being said its not perfect, even patched, the IGB will crash on self-signed certs. However it does work for opening EVE forums and sites with normal certificates. The crash does not affect the client.

I found that the patch wouldn't apply in git so manually edited the files from the raw.

After compiling evelonline is now displaying in all my clients :)
