STILL, I prefer incredibly elaborate explanations for simple problems whenever possible

That is strange how it died. Proteus are ones of the toughest ship, and the second one showed it. I guess there was some rule violation.

Why doesnt ccp anchor a 125km bubble on the arena, so people who dc just sit in place until they reconnect?

it's supposed to work like that already. That's why Raivi and I were so confused. Plus a bubble graphic would be ugly

surprisingly you did not notice the speed going up to crazy numbers (i.e warp) before destruction on the 'battlefeed'

i just locked an open door.. strange, yet symbolically compelling.

a bubble graphic would maybe result in less boundary violations since people will be able to actually see where the arena ends

So.... there was a game mechanics fail from the host causing it to pop? Or did he never log back in?


he logged back in after the match ad was like lol kept my proteus, later.

I was talkin **** about proteus setups but honestly if he didn't disconnect I'm pretty sure they would have won

Honestly, I cant understand why CCP changed this. In the previous (2?) tourneys you could disconnect but be able to reconnect without beeing destroyed by the GMs.

Same. I doubt the scimitar would have kept on the two proteus dps and the remaining one took a while to kill.

He got socket closed just as the fight started, he just posted a screenie on our mumble.. we are a bit miffed yes :) specially the comments that where made during the fight ^^

i am not sure either. hero relogging is an impressive feat and shouldn't be penalized but welp. i do hope the rules were followed though, i am not sure what this "lol kept my proteus" post was about as e-warping ships are clearly supposed to be destroyed. wouldn't want anyone to break the rules would we.
