Hello.

I've been thinking of adding another minitor to my station, so that I can utilize my two accounts more effectively.
The question is I don't know how this is going to impact on my computer, and / or if I need to add a second graphics-card to be able to supply both monitors with enough juice.

I'm not that into computer-hardware, but here's what I got at the moment:

AMD Phenom 3,4 Ghz
8 GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series
Run on Windows 7, 64 bit

All answers and opinions are appreciated.

I think you should be fine with a single video card. But, if you go with a second one, it will always be better. I'm running two monitors right now (wish I had more) with a 4870x2 and it runs just fine.

almost the same setup I used till few days ago on a double monitor at fullhd, if you have 1Gb you will be pretty much capped so maybe setting aa at medium or at lesat 1 client with some less details would let you play with no issues. That will last short anyway, since for the end of the year (at least I hope so) EVE will have dx11 and tassellation so 1Gb vram could barely be enough for 1 client/monitor.

imho a gtx670 will be needed then
