also maybe smaller top bar that shows the ships?

keep the cam? lose it? lets not argue just post your suggestions. If someone disagrees with you then present a solution.

edit: more ideas , change the top bar to look more interesting? save space. I made the clock bigger while making the whole thing take up 40% less room.

Another crazy idea is due to the new format, pilot names could be removed? or moved? They do take up a lot of room this year, while in the past they nested easy, but who really looks at the pilot names? Give the commentators a tool to see who is which pilots on their end, and save it from the bar that helps us know what going on?

What are the pros, cons to removing pilot names from where they are?

Do you have any suggestions on where this information could instead be located? accessible to the community?

I quite like that, although there would need to be a bit more space next to the ship names, to fit in multiple ewar effects..

If the blue side was aligned to the right it would probably be enough room.

I will change my mock up based on feedback in this thread so keep it coming! I'll be heading off to bed, but tommorow I'll take some time to change it.

Come on I'm not the only artist out there, how can we get more room for the EW effects while opening up the middle for the super handy map view they've make tiny in the corner?

Defo smaller upper bar,
bigger map,
no cam needed,
transparent lower bar.

If there will be no cam window, they could put a bigger map in btw the 2 teams infos.
